So, have you heard of the styles? Which is your favourite? What do you think of the them? Do you need to have a lot of research? Some people say it has too many rules and that if you dont know enough about a certain type you will be looked down on. Like if you dress like a sweet lolita you shouldn't wear a dress or skirt above your knee because that style is meant to be elegant or cute rather than sexy, where is where most people make mistakes. Some call it a fashion, others a lifestyle. Now, over to you.

yes just you said we need a style we shouldn't looked down upon it or take granted for a old tradition ,i think many things have the certain style not only the japan'a streent ,and just like a dressing we wear, when the big man appeared in public whey always selcet the suitable dressing ,some od the most heated conversation on the morning after election night centered on obama's dress, the first lady-elect took on the satge at grand park in chicago wearing a red-and black sheath it sparked insatnt dabate among viewers with some caling it at eye-catching statments and others and eyesore,' so the style of dressing is so important for a man esp a big man ,,,that it ,,thanks

I LOVE Japanese street style. Me and my daughter have always wanted to go to Japan because of their style. It is so awesome. I love my magazines that i get every once in a while Gothic Lolita Bible. Full of fashion and patterns even, but I have not tried to make anything yet.

I love the lolita styles! I'm into gothic clothing or something more along the lines of cyberpunk/matrix wear. But I wouldn't wear them all the time because they can be pricey, so I dress in the latest trend (budget wise), until I can get enough money to buy all that stuff online... T_T But the lolita style is pretty sweet. I'd dress like a jrocker any day if my school would let me. =p
