I hope I can gain other country's people cultures and sure will share with your guys at mylot when I back from Korea next year.

My son's birthday is 2 days before christmas so I'll be celebrating his first birthday and his second christmas, and he'll be able to open his presents, I'm excited about that :D We are just going to spend time with our family.

We have to spend it with my in-laws. My MIL always wants to make sure that everybody knows how much she spent on them and oh how many presents she got for you. She also has them all under the tree already. So much for the presents being from Santa and them magically appearing under the tree over night. It would not even work if we just add our presents over night for the kids, they wouldn't notice. My MIL is bound to spend $200 on each of us but it'll be like 20 presents for each person. You can imagine the mountain of junk under the tree, lol. And the tension that is bound to arise. Our kids' cousin will be there who always has been my in-laws favorite, so our kids won't get much attention, either. I don't know why we even bother going to their house.

Oh I'm sorry to know that dear, that your kids were not the favorite ones for your MIL. I can relate with that feeling too when my grandmothers favorite before was my older sister... i even ask that to my mother why is that my sister is much closer to my older sister than me since i am the youngest, i should be one closest to her. Well, now i understand that its like that before because shes looks like her and she's the ones my grandmother depends on too whenever she need something , she could assist her. Anyway, things could really happen like that, we could really say its unfair but its life. At least she still there for your kids and wants all of your to be there. Family is the most treasure that one can count. So xmas is the perfect time to be together again. Let's just be happy for our blessings we got and be glad for more to come! We will celebrate xmas joyfully and set aside some negative thoughts. I would not make us happier anyway. God Bless!
