dragging...why does mylot drag so slow

I think what it is, is the server load with the amount of people logging onto mylot and submitting their data to the mylot server, which can cause reduction in bandwidth, failing that, I have been working as a web administrator for sometime and the sql tables might need optimising, but this is just my two cents.. so far I have had only 3 times when the white page would show up after submitting a reply, but this was due to my computer trying to download the aspx file.

Yeah, mine's slow too. Not sure why.........

I noticed it was very slow yesterday and now it's starting to slow down again. I also noticed that every time I post a reply to one of my friends discussions, I get a white screen and have to refresh it. This hasn't happened when I reply to anyone else. Probably just a coincidence though.

I think it's extremely slow most of the time. I only have dial up, but still it seems slower than other sites. A few times I have written a comment or discussion and submitted it and it went out into cyberspace somewhere I guess. The page just turned white. It's frustrating when you write quite a bit and then it is just lost. Today I made the mistake of previewing a response I'd written before uploading the photo that went with it. I was able to back up and copy and paste my response into word and then go back and paste it in the response section and I uploaded the picture all over again. I am still new at this, glad I was able to copy and paste my response, because it was a long one. I try to be patient and I take advantage of the time it takes to upload something by doing some chore I need to get done around the house.
