How many kung fu stars do you know?

I only know Jackie Chan, Jet Lee and Bruce Lee. It seems that they are all Chinese, aren't they? How many kung fu stars do you know? Do you know any other guy?

LOL... funny question. See my list below...am not sure though if they are all "kung fu stars". LOL - Jet Li - Jackie Chan - Bruce Lee - Michelle Yeoh - Chow Yun Fat - Zhang Ziyi - Cynthia Rothrock (haha) - Chuck Norris :D - Kung Fu Panda LOL

LOL. Well if this were including Kung Fu fictional characters then yes I would have to add the Kung Fu Panda on my list, along with the other main characters on that movie. Haha Chuck Norris xD. . .

They are all Chinese. Moreover, there are also two female kungfu stars--- Michelle Yeoh and Zhang Ziyi. You can find their excellent performance in the film Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Kungfu film is originated from China, is it? Nowdays many directors imitate and improve Chinese Kungfu, and we can see the print in many famous films, such as Kungfu Panda, Kill Bill, Matrix. Do you agree with me?

Most of the actors & actresses are martial artists. What I mean is that if you try to mug them on the street, prepare to suffer the consequences. However, in the films & movies, almost all of the action is acrobatics, stunt work, & coreography that does take careful coordination to accomplish. If the story lines & action happened in real life, it definitely would not be "pretty" as what you see in the movies.

I just wondered... Why do you think Zhang Ziyi is a kungfu star? Haha All her kung fu is not true. lol No one in China thinks Zhang has any relation with kung fu. You must be a Filipino, I guess. Have a great day.

Most of the Kungfu films are not real. Zhang Ziyi is actually a star coming out of Kungfu film and then known to the world. So I took her into considerarion.

I am not really a Kung fu fan to be honest but I can only name the famous kung fu stars like you have already listed, Bruce Lee I think is the best. Isn't Steven Seagal also a Kung Fu actor, I maybe wrong but he does star in those sorts of films doesn't he?

Steven Seagal got his start because they were looking for someone that can do a certain move, but I cannot remember what it was. He was one of the few, if not the only one auditioned that was able to do it. I don't know if race or nationality was taken into consideration.

Perhaps! I don't know that guy. lol Currently, people are watching a hot drama called Bruce Lee legend on some channel in town! Actually, I've know idea why he is so famous. Lots of south korean guys like to immitate him, which is really unbelievable. Have a great day.

Lol. I am only familiar with the ones you know, unfortunately. I am not familiar with any other "kung-fu" stars. So that makes it a total of 3 for me. xD I know there are probably more, but those are among the most well-known, especially in Hollywood lol.

My American told me that Bruice has been more famous since he passed away, which made him more like a legend. So, Jackie Chan can take his position over somehow.

kung fu originated from china, so they are all chinese, i think kung fu is so cool, and these guys are made a great movie, and i like it very much, and also there are so many other stars, but they are still chinese, haha, it is really cool.

besides (1), (2), (5), here's some other guy: (1) bruce lee (2) jackie chan (3) sammo hung (4) yuen biao (5) jet li (6) donnie yen (7) vincent zhao (8) wu jing (9) tony jaa i think the martial artists whom we should be paying attention to (for these recent/coming years) are donnie yen, tony jaa, and wu jing.
