Wow! The first car I ever had was a 1982 Ford Escort. It had no radio, no air, no power windows or seats, it shook real bad when I hit 40mph and had a MAJOR oil leak. My mom got it from her friend for me for $100. It wasn't even worth $1 in my opinion. However, it got me from point A to point B!! I know own a 2005 Honda CRV.

If it got you from point A to point B then it was worth $100.00. And you should be grateful that your mom was willing to buy it for you. I didn't get a car until I could pay for it myself, which was pretty much the only time I got anything. So come on people show a little gratitude.

My first car was a 1987 Ford Thunderbird Sports Coupe with a 5.0 V-8 engine. This car was completely loaded for it's time and was a real head turner. Of course, I wanted a Camaro instead of this car, so I never fully appreciated how cool a car it really was until after I traded it on my first Camaro...but to this very day, I still miss that car. It was unique with some really cool ground effects, a spoiler, an all digital dashboard and every bell and whistle that Ford offered that year. A great ride.

The first car I ever drove was a 1990 Chevy Sprint with 3 cylinders. It was my Dad's second car. I bought my own in 1995. A 1994 Chevy Cavalier. It was a great car. I miss it somewhat.

1929 Desoto - 1929 Dodge Desoto was a 4 door with a spare tire and wheel on both front fenders. It was fun to drive as long as you didn't go over 50 miles an hour.
My first car was a 1929 Desoto (by Dodge Bros.) I bought it for $50.00 in Saskatchewan and drove it to Edmonton Alberta where it developed engine trouble. I had no place to park it while I tried to get it fixed so I asked a lady if I could park it in her back yard. I left the keys in the ignition. I couldn't get any parts so I just left the car there. That was in 1953, and as far as I know the car is still parked in that ladies back yard.

My first car was okay until it started to fall apart. It was a 1990 blue Saturn. But recently the ac has stopped working, the windows leak when it rains, the sun roof doesn't work, and all the padding and stuff from the ceiling has come off leaving all the plastic exposed. I was getting pretty embarrassed to drive it so now I drive my mom's old minivan. Still embbarrassing but at least this cars not falling apart.
