this is the time of year when egg nog is a seasonal drink. My husband loves egg nog, I surprised him the other day when I went shopping and got some. He likes to mix it with his milk in order to stretch it. Me on the other hand do not and have never liked egg nog. I know some people put alcohol in it as a holiday drink. do you like egg nog, do you like it straight or with alcohol in it?

Egg Nog is one of those things that isn't the best tasting. In my own opinion it has too much of a strong taste, one I can't really describe. If there was milk mixed in with it I think it would be fun. I do remember last year when I was still working I bought some and offered it to my fiance, I think it had cinnamon it and I wanted to try it. It was the small bottles you can purchase. Now, I just don't think I'll have it this year. It's an acquired taste.

Yeah it is a acquired taste and I do not like the idea of drinking raw eggs.

I have never tried eggnog. I do not like nutmeg though. I think that is one of the main reasons why I have never tried it.

I drink some of the soy variety around the holidays. I think it's a bit too sweet so I'll usually dilute it with plain soy milk. I like it with or without rum but usually prefer with :-)

I used to like drinking it but I have not had one in ages. I don't particularly look for it. Cheers!!

Eggnog is ok, but it's too rich for my taste. I can only take a couple of swallows until the sweet richness of it starts to make me gag.

I think eggnog is just one of those things that everyone does just because it's tradition, because not many people seem to like it after Christmas ;).

Yeah egg nog usually starts selling just before Tbanksgiving, and stops a little after The New Year begins.
