How old were you?

How old were you when you stopped believing in Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy (or whatever children's myths exist in your country)? And was there some event that caused you to stop believing? Like maybe an older sibling saying "that's not Santa, that's daddy wearing a costume!"

I think I was like 8 years old when I saw my mom and dad putting Santa presents under the tree,so then I was told about the Easter bunny and the tooth fairy but I never said a word to my younger brother. You have a great day.

I think I was around ten/ or eleven years old of age. When I discovered that girls were much more interesting than Santa Klaus. That a women's bosom was there not only to feed the babies but served for entertainment purposes as well. © ronaldinu 2008

When I was 7 my cousin, Joe told me there was no Santa. he was like 5. I told him I knew there was a Santa , then i ran and asked my mom. She didnt lie to me, she told me there was no Santa. I wasnt really upset becaue i knew I would still get presents at Christma. When my boys got older I told them the truth when they asked. My middle son Mikey asked me about the tooth fairy because he had woken up when i came in and put money under his pillow, so I told him . there was no tooth fairy, then i preceded to tell him there was no easter bunny or santa either. he told me later he didnt want to know about santa yet. lol Oh well.

I don't remember exactly how old I was, I would guess around 10 or so - average age I would think. It was getting close to Christmas and I was starting to figure it out on my own and was asking a lot of questions. My mom wouldn't out and out tell me though, she wanted me to get it by myself. That Christmas eve I stayed up late with my dad after everyone else had gone to bed. He came upstairs with 'Santa's' presents and put them under the tree without saying a word. Mystery solved! I wasn't upset though, in fact I felt like quite the little grown up.
