any cha cha's?

Do you work for chacha? What position do you work? I'm an expeditor and my fiance is a guide. Have you noticed a decline in questions coming through? They limited the number of questions to 20 a month now and it seems like it's slowed down a lot on this end. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing the same thing.

I signed in today for the first time in a couple weeks and did notice the questions were coming in very slow. At one time I was doing like $20 a day, and that was in like 4 hours, but today I was on here for over an hour and only made $2.
I probably won't stick with it after this. I earned $150 so far, and that will help with my twins birthday and Christmas, but it's really not worth it anymore. Plus I didn't really like it much, some of the questions are offensive to me, but ChaCha's rules say not to report those types of questions. I am a bit touchy in certain subjects.
Not to mention some of the things I had to look up brought up questionable websites, and my children are always around and have full view of my computer.
It's just not worth it.

I agree about the offensive questions. I'm easily offended by them. We did notice that Expiditing is a lot easier and less offensive. You don't have to search any sites so you wouldn't have to worry about the kids seeing anything. We also noticed that Expiditors is actually getting more questions then the Guides. You only make 3 cents per question but you only have one minute to do it. You get more questions. I've been making about $3 an hour sometimes more. He's only been making $1 or $2 an hour as a guide. He also complained about the 20 question limit and how slow it's been in the forum. $150 is really good. I'm sure it will help for the holidays. I report abuse atleast twice a day about some of the vulger questions and they haven't given me any bad feedback on it yet. Maybe you'd like expiditing better, you should give it a try.

I haven't the slightest idea how to change it there. Expediter does seem easier. My friend who signed me up said she easily made $25 a day as an expediter, and I find it very difficult to make $20 a day, and that's making 20 cents a question. I have to push myself to do it, I just don't like it that much. Plus some of the questions are so stupid, or too difficult. It's just not something I like that much.

I'm a Guide there. I was earning about $5.00/day until recently. Questions were coming in so fast I had barely finished one when the next was popping up. Now I'm taking naps between questions. I think it's the new 20 questions a month rule. I just wonder wtf they were thinking!!!

I think it is too. They probably can't afford to do it for free anymore or atleast they may be using the economy as an excuse. I don't know but it was great way to make money until now. My fiance wrote in the forum about it and never got a response. I guess we'll see what happens.

I work for ChaCha as an expiditor. I love it, its so easy. It had slowed down for a bit but it seems to be picking up now. There are some times when the questions are back to back, it just depends when your on. I really hope it does pick up though cause I enjoy doing it and the moneys really good considering...

It's picking up for guides also. I like it too but I haven't been on much with Christmas so close. I got bored with it for a little bit. I plan on getting back into it though after Christmas, when we aren't so busy at home.

I'm a guide at ChaCha, and there has been a decline in questions, though I don't believe it's related to the 20 questions a month, but to the specialist system as well as bugs that were introduced when it went into place.
If you don't do categories and interests right, you don't get queries.
the bigger problem right now, though, is that questions get routed into black holes. I use ChaCha in addition to being a guide, and often the questions never get answered, and some of them are never even replied to with the "wait for your quesiton" text. I think once the kinks are worked out of the new specialist system, everything will go back to the way it was.

I agree. They also have a new expeditor addition, We have to answer some of the questions now instead of sending them to guides. I think that's also why there's a decline in guide questions. Supposedly it makes it faster for the customers. It takes me longer to expedite the questions with the new system. I also see a lot of complaints coming through. I think maybe after all the holiday specials, like Palm, are done things will get better.

I just joined ChaCha about ~3 weeks ago, and I've made about $80. I know this discussion was started about 2 years ago, but I thought I'd respond anyhow - just because. 
. I am a GE/SP, and at least now, we have NO limits on questions we can answer. I don't know if it's different for EXP people, but as GE/SP's, we have no limits. We can ChaCha to our hearts content. (Or until we get carpal tunnel).

I still do it sparatically but not often. I just got bored after all this time. As far as I know, there are no limits for expediting either. It is a great way to make money that's easy to do though.

I am a exbiditor for ChaCha and my husband is a guide. I think the slowness has a little to do with the 20 question limit, but I am sure the majority of it has to do with their server. They are constantly having problems. It is frustrating for me because both my husband and I make a living online, as we are unable to work. We have other outlets of income, but we made a lot on ChaCha.
I also heard on their forums that they are trying to cut back on what they pay guides, so I am sure that is why they put the limit on ChaCha questions that are coming in a month. I wish they would get more sponsers and lift that limit, or otherwise charge a small monthly fee for those who go over the limit, just so we could stay busy. It makes for a long day if you are trying to make any kind of money.
I was going to use my ChaCha money that I am earning for Christmas for our kids but at this rate I am going to have to shop at the dollar store, lol. It just gets really frustrating!

We were just using it for our bills. I hope they come up with something better then what they are doing now or we'll all have problems. I hadn't heard about them wanting to cut back on guide payments. You'd think if they didn't want to pay that much they'd just stop hiring for a while.

I've been working there for a little over a month and I've made almost $500, just by doing it in my spare time. I'm a Guide there as well.
The last three or four nights for me have been really slow, and supposedly that is due to a system issue. I really hope that IS why it's slow and not the 20 question limit that they just put in place.

Hi!! I was just notified today (well yesterday I guess... as it is 2 in the morning now LOL) that the only position they have available is the expeditor & for me to go do the tests...
I watched the videos & downloaded all the material as well as took notes threw the videos. Not sure if I am ready to take the plunge & do the tests though LOL.
How do you feel about expediting? I am kinda nervous about it lol. I am only hoping to make 20-50 a month so anything would be great LOL. I figured aim low & cheer when it hits high ;-)
Any info or tips you have would be wonderful! I so do not want to mess up on the test lol. they already have my w-9 so I cant just create a new name and try again LOL.

Don't worry about the tests, there easy. You should have no problems making $20- $50 a month. I like expiditing, it's really easy and doesn't take much time to make money. All you do is look at the question, reformat it so it's a proper sentence, pick the catagory that the answer should be found in, and send it to a guide. It gets easier and easier as you go. It seem s overwhelming at first but it will be so easy after the first few. I'll add you as a friend and if you have questions you can PM me. Good luck and have fun.

i almost singed up to work for chacha.. it sounds like a pretty good way to earn money although right now id rather just earn money from online. i am kinda afraid that if i signed up to work for chacha right now then i might not have much time to earn from chacha. i was abit skeptical at first because they ask for really personal information like social security number and stuff but now i am sure it is legit because i hear from alot of people here on mylot that it is safe and legit program to earn from. i might join it soon.
