what is this thing???

I have heard a little bit about this thing called bluetooth . I am a man living in very remote place of this world and the gadgets take years to reach here . even my computer is a oldy. what is the function of this thing. however it has funny name!!!

Bluetooth is a wireless device.It can be used with cell phones ,modems and headsets. There is alot of information on this at wikipedia. I don't use bluetooth but have seen many people around my area that do.
