Michael Jackson will always be a cute little black boy singing "ABC" in my heart....

He did have many plastic surgeries but turning white was actually not one of the treatments he received but is in fact the result of a disease. He has something called vitiligo and also used to have lupus, which is now in remission. However because of both he is sensitive to sunlight and the treatments he uses for vitiligo also increases the lighter tone of the skin. Vitiligo causes the loss of the pigment in the skin (the stuff that gives your skin color). People who suffer from that condition have white patches of skin on their body, some more, some less. Jackson has a lot and tries to even out things with some light make-up (some call it pancake make-up). Turning back to black is not an option for him unless they find a cure for the disease. Believe me, even white people rather not have this disease because the patches are indeed white and very noticeable.

Michael Jackson didn't make himself white because he was ashamed of his race, he had a skin condition called Vitiligo(sp?). His body didn't make enough melenin or pigment for his skin and he started get colorless or pink splotches on his skin. That's why he started wearing the glove on his hand, to hide his disease. I also believe that he has had surgery because of an accident filming a Pepsi commercial where his hair caught on fire. I'm sorry, but what does this have to do with the Obama election??
