my sister and her husband have been trying to have a baby for 2 years now...they're both alright cuz they've both been checked...but my sister has some problems with her spine which makes it difficult for her to conceive aside from other problems...according to her doctor, she's over stressed and she's taken painful shots in her belly to sort of calm her and stuff...they both really are dying to have kids...i know it's too early to be concerned, but i just couldn't help it sometimes...i conceive pretty easily, and so one time i told my husband, that if the need ever arises, i would agree to be a surrogate mom...i know it's easier said then done, but right now that's how i feel...i haven't told anyone else about this yet though, other than my husband...what's your stand on this???how far would you go to help a sibling in need???

I would love to help out someone I love to be a surrogate mother. But I will first make sure my husband and family get convinced that I am doing a good thing. I don't want to scar their feelings in the process.

I think its wonderful that you are willing to be a surrogate for your sister. I just saw on TV this morning about a mom who was a surrogate for her daughter. Its a personal decision between you and your hubby and your sister and her hubby when the time is right for all of you. Yes, I think if I could have and would have for my sister years ago if she needed me to. Good luck to all of you.
