A rude awakening!

I overslept this morning and my sons sent the twins into my bedroom to wake up up to get ready for work. Well, they saw that opening the door hadn't disturbed me and then they must have remembered that a few weeks ago I had to stay in bed for ome days as nerves were trapped in my back. so bless the little darlings, I awoke to them smearing moisturizing lotion into my hair. Actually, one was putting the lotion in my hair and the other one was rubbing a deodorant stick in my hair. when I woke them and asked them what they were doing. They said 'to make you better'. Because I was late for work I did not have time to shampoo my hair so here I am at work with all this yuck in my hair. Thank goodness my boss is not here today and that I work alone in my office. I know they meant well but..... Have your grandchildren/children done anything like this to you?

Aww, I know it was not easy for you to go to work that way, but then they were "trying" to be thoughtful!! I was nauseated once and couldnt move to get up and my daughter was going to be helpful and bring me water in her dirty chocolate milk glass! I crawled to the bathroom when she wasn't looking and washed out the glass as I didn't want to hurt her feelings that I didnt drink some of the water she brought to make me better!

You are so right. They were just being loving towards me. My son laughed so hard but he did make me a cup of coffee so that I could drink it on the way to work. He told me that if I was putting deodorant on my head instead of under my arms then he had serious concerns re my mental state! Most of what they do is trying to be helpful but I was jusrt flabbergasted at what they did. Many thanks for your response.

That is cute. Didn't they have an incident with lotion last week? Sounds like you might need to hide that stuff!

Sounds like they could be two little finger paint artists in the making! Have they tried finger paints yet? They would love it!
