Have you set up the bios in your motherboar to boot to cd? If it doesn't work try another optical drive and then boot again to cd. Check also the cd installer.

This problem happen mostly if you boot your system with the copy you made from the original Windows CD, try to boot with the original CD not the copy, and if you are currently using the originsl cd and still you experience this problem you may need to change you dvd r drive(you can ask your friends just to load the OS) And if the problem persist you may diconnect the hard drive and see if the pc still cannot boot from the cd Once again, if you are using IDE try connecting the hard drive on its own cable and the dvd r on its own cable too, set the dvd r to be the first boot drive

Hi Malfaiate, Did you go into your BIOs (usually hit Delete button when starting up until it goes into BIOS) to change the boot sequence. If you want to boot from your boot disc, you will have to move your CD or DVDrom drive above your HDD. Else it will boot from your HDD drive (windows). I hope this work for ya.
