Good news for some wild giraffes!

I love giraffes. I really do. So, when I find some good news for wild giraffes I just have to share it with my friends. http://www.smithsonianmag.com/science-nature/30705979.html I'm not sure I knew there were 9 subspecies of giraffes, I knew of 3. I was happy to hear that at least this subspecies is doing pretty good for not being as protected as most of the others.

I never knew that either, I also think it is great when animals in the wild can live in peace and the way nature meant it to be.

I agree. I know that other wild animals consider them like "watch towers of the plains" and they are more likely to walk toward a lion then away. They are big enough that only humans are a real danger to them.

I like giraffes too. I love to go to the zoo and see all kinds of wild animals also. Monkeys and Gorillas are my favorites.

I've never been a primate fan, maybe because they are too much like humans to feel comfortable to have them in zoos. I know they are animals, but they make me think of all those stories where humans end up in alien zoos....

Same as you, I always thought a giraffe was a giraffe was a giraffe... who knew? My other thought about these weird-looking creatures, is, that God sneezed when making up the animal kingdom and messed up with them...

Oh, giraffes are right up there with cats and horses in my book. I love them. I've been totally captivated with them since my dad brought a stuffed giraffe back from Texas for me.

There ya go... God was making horses and leopards when he sneezed and came up with giraffes... the long neck and legs are a direct result of that sneeze ...

I happy to hear that you love giraffes so much and i request keep on having interest on them and it is very good animal so those one don't do harm to others , i think you have found so many of them.

These are very funny animals and i really enjoyed when i was saw on the zoo so they are having long nice so it is really funny to see and it is good animal, it won't do harm to another animals.
