Do you think seeing is believing?

When we hear something, we don't believe it easily. But when we see something we believe it easily. That is why it is said that seeing is believing. But I read somewhere just opposite. BELIEVING IS SEEING. When you believe something to be true, you see it actually happening. Do you think it is true?

It really depends on the stuff you are talking about. Like me talking about belieiving on witch and ghost and creatures. Some really don't believe it unless they will see it. Some too you can see and well looks can be deceiving and this things can be. But if we talked spritually like believing if there's God. For me it is important that you believe. There is more to see beyond our naked eyes that our spirit can see. But most of all it is your heart that could feel God is there. God seeks heart that believes in him. Blessed are thos who believe in him even if they don't see. For they are the true people who lived spritually. God is not seen by our naked eyes. He can be seen within our hearts and you can see him in your own face if you have comtemplate him.

Dear Cybersoft! I think you have initiated an interesting topic of discussion. 'Seeing is believing' and not believing others by their saying etc are implying statements and not to be taken literally as they are ! Like how can you not believe the news read in Radio, the conversatio you are having your friend on your phone ? Similarly seeing is not always not believable! have you ever seen a magician craeting tricks on the stage? have you attended any Ventriloquists show? Here you are made to believe that the doll or dummy is speaking with you ! Third aspect is believing is seeing this is again is not true if taken literally there is electricity but, can you just deny its existance as you can't see it? Similarly we can't see the almighty does this mean that there is no Almighty or Super power governing this nature? Thius in my opinion such such staements are to be comprehended under fifferent circumsyances in different ways and one should understand the crux of such statements which say that don't believe in gearsays just confirm your self before acting further or before taking any action! Thanks dear friend , I liked the discussion! All the best!

I do think that seeing is believing. I think that it ties into the concept that a picture is worth a thousand words. Why? Because people can talk a good game, but their actions are what makes sense. With religion, of course, this gets a little more complicated. I like how you have reversed the idea, and on a spiritual level, this seems to work. Believing in something is seeing on another level. Having a vision of what your beliefs mean and where they can take you. This can also apply to yourself. Believing in yourself is seeing your own possibilities and talents. You have made me think with this one!

Not all the time because what you see can decieve your mind. But it's just a vicious cycle in life. Just trust your instincts.
