bringing computer in the room

i work at home and i stay in a very warm area, primarily because the internet connection is there and it would be very difficult to move it to another side of the house. anyway, my brother in law is suggesting that i bring the computer inside my room where i can work in the comfort of an airconditioned room. and even if i don't turn on the AC, most times, the room is cool most of the day. but i can't bring myself to take my computer inside the room because i know myself. i am a workaholic. and if i bring my computer inside the room, i will continue to work even it is already late. at the same time, i have so much stuff related to work that are just strewn on the work table beside. i don't want these stuff inside my room. our bedroom is a sanctuary for me. i want it to be neutral ground for my hubby and myself. so far, it is working for us. so i just have to endure the heat for the rest of the day. how about you? where is your computer located? take care all and God bless you! :-)

Well, i have a laptop but my internet connection is only in the living room. I could ask my hubby to make an opening in the wall so that i could use the net in the room as well but i wont. I wouldn't let him put a tv in the room since sometimes it is the only time we sit and talk before sleeping so to have a TV in THERE as well... HA... he'd ignore me and keep watching his shows and games and what not. I don't want to put ANYTHING that would be a form of entertainment in our bedroom computers, TV's, even a telephone is not in our room. I have a cordless so if people are visiting and i need to make a call or take a call in private i will take the cordless handset with me. So many times you hear of issues arising from having something of the sort in the room because be it husband or wife ignores the other. Not consciously but people get caught up online, or really find themselves entranced when watching a movie and so on. So i just cut to the chase and all things of the sort are a no no.

We have two PCs in our home. One of the PC is at our bedroom and the other in between our sala and dining. The one I'm using right now is the latter. We have this two PCs because my 2 brothers and 2 sisters use our PCs for research, chatting amd games. But we really have a high electric bill so if it was me, I'd rather have one PC and put it outside our bedroom also.

Its in my room and I if I am in it I usually spend most of my time on the computer. Also it rarely has anything to do with work or so. I usually spend my time on the computer to have some fun or perhaps learn something new.
