I have been doing a lot of looking on ebay lately, just doing some christmas shopping for my daughter. While on their I thought hmmm... why don't I see anything I use to have when I was little. So i looked them up in vintage and was surprised to find a lot of them. I never thought that the toys I use to play with would be considered vintage yet, but I guess with technology changing every day, that if it is technically advance it is vintage. I personally like the vintage toys like the old farm house, the school bus, old record players, a lot of the older fisherprice toys. I am only 21 yrs old, and didn't think that those toys I played with when I was little would be so out of date, but I still love them, and I hope my daughter will love them too. And maybe when she is older she can pass them on to her children. So do you like vintage toys or take an interest in them? What was your favorite childhood toy? Do you think that todays technology is overriding childrens imaginations? Please share, and happy mylotting.q

Strawberry Shortcake was and still is my all time favorite! Cabbage patch dolls were big back then too. Barbie is still popular today too. Technology is taking the place of everything these days.

I have found that toys that I used to play with have made a come back. I am 33 and when I was young I liked My little ponies, and cabbage patch dolls. Now my daughter has my old ones to play with plus some of the new ones. She also has my old cabbage patch doll and I have gotten her a new one as well. I just love the old toys. I was recently at an auction that had alot of these toys. They also has old old hot wheels cars from th 70's and such. I do think that todays technology is overriding childrens imaginations. Now all the new toys talk walk etc. Us as kids had to make the voices and move the toys. So I try to share a bit of my childhood with theirs.
