My cat just coughed up a big hair ball and it had some of his lunch in it ew! I cleaned it up with this really good carpet stain remover, and now you cant see a stain at all. but anyway the strange thing is my cat just kept on playing right after that as though nothing ever happened, he dosent even seem fazed by barfing, this might seem like a strange question but how dose your cat behave after coughing up a hair ball and do you feel conserned when this happens?

Yea it took my cat a long time to start coughing up hair balls, my cat stays indoors so when he's not playing he spends a lot of time grooming himself so I guess that might be why he gets hair balls but he dosent cough them up that offten thank goodness because there really gross to clean up, and I feel so sorry for my cat when that happens.

I have one cat who is about three years old now and she eats her fur. She'll get a big wad of it stuck on her tongue while grooming and just eat it. But in three years she's only coughed up maybe ten hair balls, which is strange, to me, considering how much of it she consumes in an average grooming routine. LOL Yeah, they do seem to be completely unphazed by it. I just don't like listening to it because it sounds like it hurts so badly. :( It makes me feel bad for them.

Hey hey I think hair balls are normal , so dont worry . Usually i dont see my cats doing it , and will just find a hair ball waiting . I am watching a cat for my bro and his fiance until they move into their new place , and the cat will act strange before making all sorts of noises and then up it comes . I am sure things are cool just so there is no blood in there .
