What kind of tea do you drink? Regular,White, Green

I drink regular tea as I don't like the other teas. I tried some green tea one times and did not like it. I have never tasted the white tea so I don't know if I like it or not. I used to add peach tea flavoring to my tea and it was pretty good. It was made by Lipton but is no longer available at my stores now. What kind of tea do you like?

Ginger is one of my favourite ingredients in a tea, it has good digestive qualities, too.

I am a self confess tea addict. I love all kinds of tea be it english, chinese or japanese. Most importantly i drink them with no sugar or honey. I have always like the original taste of tea and I find non-sweetened tea much more refreshing and healthier. I usually drink about 8-10 cups a day.

Yes, tea made properly doesn't need sugar (as a vegan I don't take honey, anyway). With regular tea, I put soy milk with it, this sweetens it enough, especially if the soy milk has been sweetened with some apple juice!

Just thought this may help those who wants to change to non-sweetened tea. Try to look for jasmine green tea instead of just green tea. The taste if still similar but jasmine green tea has the additional jasmine smell which is very refreshing.

Well i am a tea lover, or you can say that i am kind of addicted to tea. Like in the morning i need tea to start my day. Otherwise i feel sleepy and tired the whole day. I am drinking regular milk tea from my childhood, and because i was gaining weight people sggested me try green tea. I tried it for few days but did not like it at all. It was the lipton green tea edition. The regular milk tea is the best for me to have.

Yes, it's certainly said to be very good, with all its nutritional qualities. I have it now and again. Couldn't drink it all the time though, as the taste, though okay, is not brilliant. Keep on going, Silverlite!!! :~)

When you mentioned Sainsburys, I just knew you had to be from England, like myself! Have you tried some of the German discount stores like Aldi? They seem to be right round the country, they have a few 'redbush' teas that can't seem to be obtained anywhere else. Sainsburys can be good for teas, as they do some 40 to a box, which makes the price a bit more reasonable. Sometimes I like to buy the organic and/ or fairtrade teas. Also in the south-west of England we have a tea blender in Dorset, so I like to buy their teas when I can to buy local! Well as far as the blending of it goes - I realise it's all grown abroad. Clipper teas from Beaminster is the name. Looking at the marketing of the tea can be quite fascinating too. All those African mamas out in the field, picking the tea leaves, makes the packaging quite colourful. It is surprising what one can write on the subject, when inspired! :~)

Somebody else from England Dorset we come your way on holiday a lot , lovely place you are so lucky to live there, I always buy fairtrade tea sainsbury red label. I don't bother with aldi or supermarkets like that , we have tried but cannot find anything worth eating, been spoilt by home grown food I suppose sainsburys always source food from local farms and we eat mainly fresh food all the time so it suits us,and coming from kent the garden of England we have always have had an abundance of fresh fruit and vegetables , we grew up in the middle of orchads and farms and don't buy processed foods at all,or only very rarely.x

If you are talking about normal teas, then my personal favorite tea would have to be white tea. I like the subtle sweetness of white tea, and it's really easy on the taste buds too. But these days, you really can find any kind of fruit falvored tea. The supermarket near my home alone sells lemon tea, apple tea, pear tea, peach tea, pomegrnate tea and mint tea, just to name few!

I always like Chinese tea, although I drink green tea too. I just like the taste and the smell of Chinese tea, it's just very nice. I don't like to drink fruit tea or flower tea, to me, they are too fragrance and don't taste like normal tea.

The tea that I actually prefer to drink is the Chai Tea that Starbucks makes. Now you may not call this tea, but it is actually black tea. If I do not have the chance to drink that I prefer to drink the White Tea which is very nice tasting. Why is Liptons no longer available at your stores?

Thank you for your response. My store still has the Lipton tea. It is the Lipton flavoring that you put in the tea that they don't sell any more. It was two flavors, peach and raspberry. I have not tried the White Tea. Happy posting

I always drink regular I guess lol. I drink Lipton Iced Tea. It's very easy to make and I have it down to a T (lol) now. First I take 7 lipton bags and put them in the coffee pot and fill it with water just like you were making coffee. Then I bring out my gallon jug, and put about a cup and 3/4 of another of sugar in there. It tastes exactly like McDonald's tea (which tastes great!) Then after that I take the finished tea and pour it in the jug and stir all the sugar until i don't see anymore in the mixture then i fill the rest with cold water while stirring. If you do it right, you will never buy McDonald's tea again lol. It tastes so good, all my family loves the tea I make. And in all honesty even with as much sugar as I use it still is better than drinking sodas for your body. Great discussion.

I have never been a tea drinker so I really can't give a good share in this topic of yours. I don't know I don't like the taste of tea whatever kind it is. I am not a coffee drinker either. I prefer plain water if I have no fresh fruit juice around.

Hi jane! Well I used to use just the regular tea or sometimes "sleepytime tea". Now I have tried so different types. I love jasmine tea, but have a hard time finding it these days. That used to be my very favorite. I have to keep searching for it. I like chamomile tea. That is supposed to me very relaxing tea. My favorite that I drink most often is green tea. I love it! I don't even drink regular tea anymore. They say that green tea is really good for you. I got so used to the taste now that I drink it all the time. I also by one called "Sweet Dreams" by Bigelow which is supposed to help relax you to sleep. I can't say that it helps, but it has a nice taste! There are alot of really nice flavored teas by Bigelow and Celestial. I wait for them to be on sale. I buy the store brand of the Green Tea so it is reasonably priced since I drink so much of it. All I add is sugar.
