babyshower!

I know that sweet little baby boy of yours is here already! I hope that baby shower was fantastic. I never know what games to expect at babyshowers. My favorite one was guessing how big around the pregnant lady is! I only every play at my sisters shower, and we used yarn for everyone to guess. She wasnt amused, but I was. I think the most gross game is the candy bar in diapers game. You half melt a candy bar and put it in a diaper so that it looks like poo. Everyone smells the candy bar then to try to guess what it is. I hope to never see that game again!

We did 2 that were hysterical! First was they passed around a jar of vasaline told every one to take some as much or little as they wanted. After every one got some they were told to put it on there nose! Then they passed around a bowl of cotton balls and you had to put your face in it. The person with the most cotton balls on there face won!! Second was the diaper smelling game. They put reconizable smells in 5 diapers. Every one had paper with number 1 - 5 on it. The diapers were labled 1 - 5. If I remember correctly the smells were Baby oil, Lavender, Vanilla, Baby powder, And I can't remember the last one for the life of me. But you can use any smells. Think to see grown women and or men sniffing diapers! It was really funny!

I am pregnant as well. Due Dec 10. Congrats. A baby game we played at my daughters shower 5 years ago. Toilet paper measurement..Each person takes a look at you for 10 seconds or so. Then they pass a roll of tp around and break off what they think will most closely fit around your belly. Person closest wins. Another good one:Never say "Baby": (Materials- baby safety pins or another type of baby object you can place on a string for each woman at the party as well as string or yarn, enough for each woman to wear as a necklace). Have each woman place the necklace with the baby safety pins around her neck when she gets to the party. The rules for this baby shower game are given out at the beginning of the baby shower that whenever someone says the word "baby" during the shower, any woman who calls it out gets a pin from the other woman who stated the word. At the end of the baby shower, the woman with the most pins wins a prize. "B" is for Baby: (Materials paper and pens passed out to all the women). Each woman is told to write the babies Mom-To-Be and Father-To-Be's name on a paper going vertically down the page. Next to each letter of both names, create a word that is baby related or things that kids like.
