Some Chores for the Kids this Weekend?

I have some chores for my kids this weekend. The older ones (2 of them- a boy and a girl) will clean the living room as well as their own rooms; the smaller ones (also 2 of them- a boy and a girl also) will arrange their school things and toys while I'll clean the backyard.

hi friend -yea my triplet boys have chores every day.the way they normally work is one picks up the toys off of the living room floor the other carries them up stairs and the other one always tells the other two i will go get our money from mom for cleaning up. now what do you think of that is that team work or what?

Great idea. Giving your kids responsibilities is such a nice thing to do. They do need to start early.

well, my boys are still young (3 and 1) so they do not really have set chores that they do every day. but they most definitely pick up their toys when needed. even my 1-year old will do this. my older son was helping pick up his toys at a young age as well. i think it is important to instill responsibility at an early age. my older son also helps me out with little things during the day. he will get me a diaper or something if i need it, or he wants to always "help" me with the laundry.
