Beware Do you know of anything to warn us about? Have a good day xxxxx With Christmas fast approaching, watch out for this... The newest virus circulating is the UPS Delivery Failure. You will receive an email from UPS Packet Service along with a packet number. NOTE: The word packet is misspelled on this line. It will say that they were unable to deliver a package sent to you on such-and-such a date. It then asks you to print out the invoice copy attached. DON'T TRY TO PRINT THIS. IT LAUNCHES THE VIRUS! Pass this warning on to all your PC operators at work and home. This virus has caused millions of dollars in damage in the past few days. Snopes confirms that it is real:(Updated in August, 2008) http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/ups.asp

There is also the Hallmark e-mail virus. This too snoops.com has also confirmed. If you get a e-mail from a known person. Do not open it without confirming that your friend or family member sent you a Hallmark card! This one attacks your hard drive!

Thank you so much for this, Raydene! I'll definitely let everyone I know about this. I get some things delivered from UPS on a regular basis so I could very well have fallen for something like this. Annie

That is a shame.. People will do anything to spoil the Christmas season... Whatever happened to giving gifts that kept on giving? This gift is a gift of hate!

It is a good thing I always know when I have stuff coming in. Thank you for passing this information though. I appreciate it very much. I try to stay up on these types of things.
