Do You Blare Your Car Stereo?

Do you blare your car stereo? What about if a song comes on that you really like? I used to always blare my stereo really loud before I had kids. Now that I have children I hardly ever have it on in the car. When I do have the stereo on, it's on a low to medium level. I don't want to hurt the kid's ears. If I'm driving by myself I will turn the radio up loud if it's a song I really like.

This is a very good discussion because I am sure there are a lot of people out there who have big sound systems in their cars, especially teenagers and young adults, and then there are those who no matter where they are they are always blaring their music really loudly like they want everyone to hear there music, and it always seems that they think their music is better than everyone elses because it is what they listen to so it is almost as if they are trying to show off for someone or something and I have never figured out why,and then there are people who have big sound systems that do not blare them, and keep them up loud enough for themselves and anyone else in the car to be able to hear without showing off,and that is cool that you used to blare you stereo before you had kids, but now you do not turn it on and when you do you keep it on low because you do not want to hurt your kids ears, and you sound like a very responsible parent, and I can understand that if you are alone and you hear a song you really like you will turn the radio up really loud, but that is understandable, because I think everyone does that, when me and my fiance go out somewhere we always have the radio on one of our local country stations, but we never blare it too loud since we drive my dads truck, and he would kill us if we blew his speakers, but we do turn it up louder if it is a song we really like,or have not heard in a good while, and I used to have a friend that no matter where he went his music was always blaring, and that was the one way you always knew he was coming, because you could hear his music from a mile away and though me and my fiance do not hangout with him anymore there are still times we hear music blaring, and we look out expecting to see his car pulling up in the driveway, but we know we will not see his car again, especially since he wrecked his car last month and it is totaled.

It all depends. I normally keep my stereo at a reasonable volume. I only play it really loud if I'm listening to a song with a lot of profanity or violent lyrics and I park next to old people, it's funny cause they look at you like you're crazy or try to walk fast to get away from you.

I always blare my car stereo. It is the only chance I get to listen to good music by myself as I have four children. When I am by myself in the car, I love to have my favourite cds on blasting away. I would be lost if my music was not blaring in my car. I love to sing away to the songs also at the top of my voice.

I like to sing in my car too loudly when I'm by myself. No one can complain about my singing.

Your own ears will pay for the blaring of your music. We are now paying for ours, hearing aids are expensive and a pain in the ear to wear. Good Luck

Heck yes I blast my car stereo all the time. My first car had a banging system. I love loud music.

Me and my friends pretty much have to blare it. We're used to being around loud amps and p.a.'s so I think our hearing may be a little damaged. Regardless if its a sweet song we crank it.

Enjoy it while you're young. Once you have kids you won't be able to blare it any more.
