Don't Worry Be Happy! Gotta a happy song to share?

I like that Bob Marley song, it does make you happy when you hear it, I like "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" thats a happy song...

Here comes the sun by the Beatles and I like Oldie goldie music. I like to listen to Buddy holly, Roy orbison, all those old rockers. I also like Tom Petty but classic rock and roll can get me singing and dancing around this house while I am cleaning.

I always used to sing, if you're happy and you know it clap your hands.... to my son when he was young, I got a kick out of the song, Don't worry be happy when it was out as well

My daugter, minnie, can verify my fave happy song. Now first a short tale, I am a very heavy sleeper and it takes a lot to wake me up usually. So this is why this sopng is my "happy song". It is from the soundtrack of Dlck Tracy the movie. It stars Madonna. She sings a song called "Hanky Panky" in it. This is a song that my kids or wife would play and I'd almost jump out of bed. There are a lot of songs that make me happy. I especially love the "dance club" songs I used to dance too when I was in my 20's and going to the nightclubs to dance with my friends. Whenever I hear those songs on the radio I can't help but dance around. I also like the song "Oh What a Night", I'm not sure who sings it but it always makes me feel happy when I hear it.

I'm terrible with song titles or artist names. But I know of a song that goes "I can see clearly now, the rain is gone." I remember when I was going thru my horrible divorce I'd hear that on the radio and just smile. My ex was the rain in my metaphor. LOL I remember that song of yours with a smile. You see many years ago the place I worked would have a Christmas party and the staff would provide the entertaiment. Several of my co-workers and I got together and did silly "pillow case" costumes over our heads and did a dance routine to that song. We even had one of them painted to look like the artist was whistling it. The hardest part was it was so hot in those pillow cases and we couldn't see a darn thing. But we could tell by all the laughter that the crowd loved it.

Almost any song that has a triple rhythm gets me up and moving. Cecilia by Paul Simon is one of them. I also like Don't Worry Be Happy, it always makes me smile. And Short People always makes me laugh. However, neither of those make me want to get up and jump around like an idiot.*L* I love, Zydeco music, too. It is really hard to sit still or not be in a good mood when listening to Zydeco!

ah the happy song, it changes from time to time, but theres nothing like it
