How many friends?

When I first started on myLot, Over a year ago, I would just accept and Send out FRs to people that I knew and had seen on discussions. I have started over thirty discussions and only 1 ever made it into double digits. I had 48 friends on my list about a week ago. Then I read a discussion by "ronreyes" http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1118753.aspx I had noticed that he was getting hundreds of responses to his discussions and he had posted no more times than I had. Part of his secret is a huge friends list. The more friends you have the more people see your discussions. So I stopped being so selective and started going through my interest categories and sending out FR's to everyone in them. Now I have almost 400 friends and even my older discussions are starting to get more responses. Now I have 6 discussions in double digits and my star rating has gone up a point! I have realized that this can be a site where you make friends if that is what you want. Or it can be a great networking tool where you can get lots of eyes to your blog. And to be honest I found this site while researching ways to promote my blog. So that was my original intent for joining myLot. I have made a lot of friends along the way and will continue to do so. In fact since I have been sending out FR's I have met a lot more people who share my interests. And I have a lot more choice of discussions to post on(like this one)And isn't that why we are here?

Hi frnds, in mylot in my frnds list were 350 frnds.i have joined 25 days ago i have reached a 359 frnds in my list. I want to make a more frnds in my list in the future. i will accept all mylotters users in my list.

Hi mojcica, I never counted before, I currently have 128. My method of getting friends has been to request those that have similar interests, lifestyle and ambitions to me. I have found though, that a core few stand out from the rest, usually those that I have requested, although some that have requested me have become very close friends and have been very helpful to my cause.

Hi mojcica! I have about 60 friends here in myLot. I really didn't check before I posted here in your discussion. When I started here more than 3 weeks ago, I used to request for friends because I practically don't know anyone here except for one. But recently, I really haven't done that and noticed that people request from me. And I find it okay. I welcome anyone who wants to be my friend even only here in myLot.
