Ok, here is the thing. I have been online all day long. Working online with ptr and ptc sites and surfed on TE to. Now I thought it was a god thing to stop online work with mylot. However, siting here trying to find something to write about it is totaly blank in my head. I am trying really hard, since I would like to be paid in december from mylot, I only have a couple of cents left before heading to payoutlimit. Have this happen to you to, what do you do when your thoughts are dryed up?

As a newbie here on mylot, my activities are more focused on making comments on what others have started rather than starting a discussion on my own. At first I thought it would just be an easy job, thinking of some topic to talk about, especially since I'm usually talkative. But then, a really good inspiration is rare to come by for me since I joined this community lol I have only started about 5 topics, I think. I don't mind at all though. I'm actually enjoying myself as I read the discussions that has been started my others, like this one. I love sharing to others what I think and in turn learning from their opinions. It's looking at the other side of the coin and makes you think "hmm.. why haven't I thought of that?" Happy mylotting! =)

I did start this topic just becouse of dry out of ideas, but this became a god one for responses, so even nothing can do so far. And I have made to my third payment which will be processed the december of 15. The last payment even got me more, so if I work a lot here to the 15 of dec, I might get more than $10 paid. It would be great if I did, but no bother. This is my hobbie and if I get moeny or not, well, I look at it as a bonus.

Hi, anetteh.. Anybody can suffer from 'writer's block'. What I did was to give myself a break, clear my mind, unwind.. Our mind cannot write if we're so stressed out or is not relaxed. So what I did is to do something else, like watering the plants, change the beddings, the best thing is going out.. do something else completely... I'm also after the before Christmas payout. But pressuring myself only leads to "no idea at all". So, I just go with the flow.. write something that I think will interest other people too. I also post discussions if I wanna ask something, or wanna clear something up. Usually I write about my own experience so it's not that very hard to come up a topic. ^^v

I can understand a real writer of a book when they do have their "writer´s block". Knowing it is your salary putting roof over head, food on the table....so forth. At least I do have a job who do that for me, mylotting for me is a habbit and getting paid for it is just a bonus. But when i did put up this topic for a discussion, I had no idea it would be any response so I guess, this was a god one. And I have reached the payoutlimit and it will be processed on dec 15.

This is my third time I will be paid. And during the time to the 15 of dec I will earn more, the last time I was paid $13 so I hope I will get paid more since I do participate almost every day. Well, no, I still have no god topics to come up with, however participate in others are OK to, but sometimes it could be nice to start one your self. I am shore it will change, I have those "writers block" from time to time.

Good for you, Anetteh. Is this gonna be your first payout, second or third? When is the cut off of requesting payment. I'm on my 9th dollar mark. I'll be reaching 10 in about 2 days, well, I hope. I hope you'd get out from your writer's block so I'd be able to respond to more discussions to reach the minimum amount. ^^v

This happened to me last night... my daughter was already sleeping... so i had time to mylot... but the problem is... i was only able to think of one discussion to start... and it only got one response... So i thought of just to respond to some discussions... but i can't find anything that interest me... so... by 11:30 in the evening... i decided to turn off the laptop... and sleep...

Well, it does happen some times. And when it does, it is no fun. I leave the computer and do something els, and suddenly there is popping up an idea in my head. Sometimes I just log out and do not bother with it. Go out for a walk instead.

Thankfully I have never come across this myself. I guess if I cannot think about starting a discussion then I respond to a lot of other people's discussions. I think that it's important to keep on writing as there is always something to say. If you don't like what you have written you can always edit it to your satisfaction. I really hope that I never get to the stage where my thoughts finally dry up! Andrew

I usually have things on my mind. I even sometimes come up with an idea when I am not online and are at work, or on a bus. I usually write it down on a peace of paper just to be reminded the next time I am online. Thank you for response and have a great day.

That happens to me from time to time because I do so much writing. My dry moments only last a short time though. I just relax and listen to music for a bit. Usually ideas will pop back into my head the minute I am back on the computer. Responding to discussions right is my main thing so that I can get a feel for the site. I am new so am learning how everything works.

Thank you bmk188 for responding and welcome to mylot. I hope you are enjoying it, it is really rewarding to be here. I am just reached my third payment, it will processed in december the 15. I try to logon every day and participate for a thirty minutes or so, usually respond to others started discussions or respond to those who responded to me. It really do payof to respond to discussions. But also if you make a god discussions your self. Again, thank you and welcome.

Oh yes, that happens to me a lot. I want to post to make some more money but sometimes the old brain doesn't work and I can't think of a thing to say. Then I go and just read and look around till I find something that gets a thought going in my head. Also a lot of times I don't have much to say to the discussion so I try by just hitting the response button and as I am typing it just seems to come to me, what to say. Sometimes the response ends up being really good and at other times it might not make a whole lot of sense, but I don't think it really matters. I just want to be active so I respond with what ever comes to my head. Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend, Your friend, Chris

It seems to be a habbit for more people than just me. I am glad to hear that. I look around on the discussions started for the day, and sometimes there is no god topic I like to response to. I try to look in here every day, if I am not overloaded with other things. But some days there is nothing to do, and some days there are tons. thank you chrislotz for responding and have a great day.

I have that problem sometimes. This is why I very rarely start Discussions. It's no good if I can't think of something! So, I just go and look for Discussions to respond to. People here are very good about coming up with a wide variety of topics to write about. There is almost always something that I am interested in. So, I usually still get paid even if I can't think of something on my own, because I am able to respond to other people who are more creative than I am at the moment! :)

Yes it happens sometimes. When i'm in such situation i don't force myself to start a discussion, i just read other people's discussion and write comments on them. Sometimes while doing that ideas to write about comes, if not no worry, you still get pay by writting comments on others' discussion.
