your own tools

Hi Savypat, Well I don't have a man in my life but my tool box consists of the essentials, a hammer, pliers, saw, different types of screw drivers and sockets. I have tubs of raw plugs, nails, screws in various sizes, a braddle but no power tools at all so I have to borrow a drill from a neighbour if I want to put a shelf up. I get by though. huggles. Hi pat! Doesn't every woman have her own toolbox? I have lived alone for most of 28 years so of course I have had my own tools. I have needed on occasion to do some minor repairs in that time. I have hammers, nails, plyers, hooks, wire cutters, tape measures, levels, wrenches. I'm sure there are lots of other things that I am forgetting too. I don't have a drill and that is something that I have needed from time to time, so when I need one I have to get someone who has one to give me a hand. There are certain things that I won't try to fix and those are anything electrical. For that I will definitely call for an expert! Now that my boyfriend is with my I let him use my tools too!

Yes I have my own tool box and yes the guys use it. I pitch a fit when they do because they never put things back where they belong. They do have to hear me complain and rant when I can't find something. Hopefully with enough rants they will keep out

Hi there, unfortunately i don't have my own toolbox,only my husband got his own. I oly borrow it when i need some screw or hammer.He is the one who always fixing the damaged on the house so he needed it. I got my sewing box rather. Happy posting.

I had my own tool box for all the years we've been married (18years) and I am in need of a new one! My husband is not a handyman in any way, shape or form. If we purchase something that needs to be assembled, that would be my job. It was a basic kit with wrenches, allen wrenches, a screw driver with different tips, a ratchet set etc. It was one of those little fold out kits you can pick up at Christmas time. I need to ask Santa for a new one this year!

I do have a toolbox that I received as a Christmas gift one year and it has come in handy many times. I have the basics in there: screwdrivers, hammer, a cutting knife, etc. I don't have a boyfriend or husband at this time, so I am the only one who uses the toolbox.

I don't have my own toolbox. My husband does all of the work that requires the use of tools. If I do need a tool though, I just go in his toolbox and get what I need.

I do have my own toolbox, my hubby does things at his own pace. and for me sometimes that is just not quick enough to get things done, so I have my own for times when he starts something and doen't finish it. or if I need to find tools that he has misplaced, so it works for me. and he has so many tools, they always seem to get scattered and hard to find. so I like my own tool box, I even have my own craft tool box. love them both!!
