Dying w/o fear....is it possible?
November 16, 2008 10:58pm CST
Everybody dies......that's plain but harsh reality each of us are facing. And just the thought of it would made us real scared I bet. But is it really possible to die w/o fearing it to happen? There were natural deaths where people knows already they won't be staying longer in life and they gonna die soon (like that of cancer victims)....and there are also those of sudden deaths like that of accidents. Can one be brave enough to face death when one knows his/her time is coming soon?

I think there are people who are just tired of their life and the pain that comes from the life threatening disease that they have. I think in those cases it's entirely possible to die without fear. Plus when you take into consideration that some people die instantly in car crashes, they really die without fear. There's also probably people who have no family or friends left, and feel they have nothing left to live for.

I think I am a little different than some people. I really do not have any fear of dying. I think it is the pain and suffering that comes along with it that scares me more than anything. And of course the medical bills. There is a song written on a subject similar to this, but I think it is more of a joke. The guy starts out the song by stating that he is not afraid of dying. I actually think that we will be better off once we are gone, we just have to live through life's trials and tribulations here on earth, and then there will be great rewards for us. Ok, I guess I'm kind of strange, or just have a strange outlook on it. Or maybe I just think life is really challenging. Thanks for starting this discussion, and have a great day!
