Do you think there are more people better than you or worse than you?

Why does everything a competition? I've no idea. But it happens!
"I admire you so much", Someone told me yesterday, which was pretty funny! It was weird to hear that, you know. I had nothing to be admired, so far as I was concerned!
On the other hand, I may feel jealous or envy some other people as well. For example, I may tell you I admire your...um...something!
Compared to someone's something, all any of us can be either better or worse than him or her! I just wondered...
Do you think there are more people better than you or worse than you?

Hi hiddenwing! I'm not quite sure what you mean! Of course there
will always be people better than you and worse than you. It
all depends on how you look at things. If you are talking
about the kind of person someone is that is one thing. If you
are referring to what a person has as far as money and material
possessions that is something else. Do I think that some people
are better off than me then I would have to say yes! But better
than I am as a person, not necessarily! I know that I am the best
person that I can be! I try to be helpful to whomever I can
whenever I can! I try also not to be jealous of people. That is
a very bad trait to have. It will only cause pain and anger.
As long as you are happy with yourself and who you are that is
all that matters!

You are a great person! I can't try not to feel jealous of someone anyway! hehe
Let me study hard and make a progress everyday so as to catch up with someone who I feel jealous of! Anyway, I have what it takes to improve myself!

Jesus Christ is our standard. We should only be concerned as to how well we measure up to Him. Not that any human could reach perfection, but that is for what we should strive.
Now, I'll comment on your question. Comparison seems to be natural in this day, but in your question you failed to state the nature of the comparison, beauty, talent, honesty, friendliness, generosity, height, weight, driving ability, age, etc. What makes one better or worse than another?

Oh, I don't really know what is better or worse! But it just feels that way sometimes! Well, I think ...um, as u know, um...

Everyone has strengths and weaknesses and I don't feel better or worse than anyone. When I was younger I truly believed everyone was prettier, cleverer and more able than me. I now know my strengths and weaknesses and try not to judge people even though there are times when you just cn't help it.

When I was younger, I was a little overconfident. It was a mistake anyway! Now, I always apprecitae others' strong point and learn it!

I dont see ppl as being better or worse partly because thats an arrogant attitude and partly because its illogical...we are all different so trying to compare just doesnt make sense to me..

Yeah, you are right! For me, I will still feel jealous of someone's something! But good luck to the lucky guys anyway. I will learn from others' strong points to make up my deficiencies

I always think alot of people are better than me in some ways. I think I am better than they are in other ways too.

Everyone has its strong points. If we think we are better, we will be positive to most of the things. Also, just have a little more faith!

Hi hiddenwing, There is an old saying that "there is a little good in the worse of us and a little bad in the best of us", and I think that is true. I never think of people as better or worse than me, we are just different. I just don't like the idea of calling people good or bad because it just isn't true. Blessings.

I guess I live better than most people, which make me happier! As you know, it is awesome to be positive anyway!
