I wonder if people think the same..here in japan only few women have children or they have maybe 1 and maximum 2..they said it's too much crowded and they cannot have the freedom anymore ...when having children it's double work for them...i have a kid and i think he's really a blessing and all the cheers he brings to my life..too good...how about you?

I don't think having children is necessary. It's all about being happy in life and if a kid could make you happy you should go for it. But if you both have a busy schedule and are very happy with each other then I don't think a kid is really needed.

Having children isn't really a necessity here in the United States. I know that the county of Japan may be overpopulated but having kids is something that comes naturally for a lot of women and as a mother I really wouldn't trade my son in for the world. You are right. Your child is a blessing. We should always cherish them while they are in our lives. Not all people choose to have children. I believe and respect in other people's choices. Having children is not for everyone. I just take care of one. I am forty years old and I am not having anymore. My son does bring me great joy.

No, it's not. The world can survive without children. Many people can survive without having children of their own. But for some people, they can't imagine their life without their kids, so I guess you could say for them, their children are a necessity. i've got a daughter and wouldn't trade anything in the world for her. I love every moment I'm with her and miss her a lot when I'm away from her. I went through labor and a c-section to get her here but I couldn't imagine my life without her. Having a child for me wasn't a necessity like air or water. I wanted to have kids, yes, but if I was left infertile, I'm sure I would have found a way to cope.
