Shopping with Hubby

Today on the View Elizabeth told the story of "shopping" with her husband. She had found all her items and was about to check out when Hubby saw the long line and made her leave the items at the store. Question. Do you shop with your spouse? If the line was too long , would you just leave? Me, Now I know why I will never marry. Why? because I wouldn't just leave. I would tell him, he could leave but I am staying and buying my items. But then again, I would get my love to drop me off at the mall and tell him to come back in 2 hours. Or make sure there was a restaurant or electronic store where he can sit and watch t.v. What about you?

It really depends on the situation actually. If it's going to be a long wait so i could buy 2 items i would on my own get fed up and leave the store he of course would be egging me on the whole time lol... BUT if i got a number of items and he wants to leave i would tell him i'd meet him at whatever store he picks when im finished... so if i spent an hour or so getting my items i sure as heck am not leaving without them ha ha

The way Elizabeth describe it, she had more of a full cart than just a few items.

first off my s/o would never tell me that. he would go find another store to look in, like electronics, sporting goods, etc. that's why he likes going grocery shopping at wal mart, while i get the groceries, he can go look at electronics, garden stuff, etc. lol but, if he did, no i wouldn't leave if i was already in line, he could go get a cup of coffee or something. it would probably be me that didn't want to go thru the long line lol

If I Finally found the item I have always wanted, I would stand in line for an hour. It wouldn't make any difference to me.

I am not married either....and if I did have someone who wanted me to leave my stuff because of long lines that wouldn't go over very big in my book! My friends husband goes shopping with us once in a while....we park him where he can people watch or near a tools department.....or have him do the drop off things....he can go to fleet farm while we do the stamping stores!

I would never get stuck in that situation because I go shopping without my husband. I like to do most of my shopping online, but I never bring my husband with me to the grocery store or to go shopping anywhere else...unless we are out shopping as a family. He works all the time, so it's a treat for me to be able to get out of the house by myself (without my child that's usually attached to my hip). If he was shopping with me by some chance and the line was too long, I would just tell him to go wait in the car and I would wait in line. Problem solved. Marriage doesn't always have to be so difficult. It's only difficult when people are unwilling to compromise.
