I saw this movie on Sunday. It was so funny. I loved the way Matilda was able to use her powers on the mean old hag. It was so funny. It was very sad, how her parents neglected her, and they did not even look after her. Matilda had to basically raise her own self. Her dad got so mad at her because she wanted to read books, and she was 6 years old and she wanted to go to school. Her father and mother did not know that it was time for her to go to school. They thought that she was 4 and a half, but she told them that she was six years old. Her parents did not even know when her Birthday was. Her mother and father were both utterly careless. They paid no attention to her, and even her brother seemed to despise her. Any time that her father had anything to say to her it was negative and abusive.. It was a very sad story at first.. But when she got to school, all of this changed. She was able to interact with other students of her own age.. It was so funny how they tricked the mean principal. This was a very funny movie.. I really enjoyed it. Have you ever seen this movie, if so, what did you like and dislike about this movie?

Yup!!!i love that movie...It used to be my favorite when i was in school..I watch it whenever i get the chance to....I love the small innocent girl who acted as matilda..and i loved the way she uses her powers to beat that mean principal...I disliked her family...

Yes, that was the most funny part when she beat up the teacher. I also hated how her family did her, they paid her no attention. That did not care how she made it or if she needed someone to be there for her.. It was very sad..

I have heard this movie but did not have a chance to watch it. I think I have to watch it. As if your movie review is very convincing.. 
I like it when it is a combination of drama and comedy. I will try to check on it. Can we find this one in You tube?

bebs you should watch the film matilda it is AMAZING!!!! i think theres a few clips of it on youtube but theres not any of the whole film and you need to see the whole film to get the storyboard its a good film and i would also recogmend this film to any age group but when you do watch it let me no what you thought of it

My hubby really loves this one part in Matilda when that boy eats the chocolate cake? I myself have only seen bits and pieces of this movie... From what it sounds like... Matilda sounds like she's a woman caught in a little girl's body. Very mature for her age and seems like she is a special little girl.

Oh my friend, I did not see this movie but I tell you what? you did a good review of this movie. You can write this review in CIAO hahaha... Trust me it will rock there.
I like to watch funny movies but I have no time for that. Sometimes we do watch movies online while we were eating but the problem is I can not recall the details of it.. hahaha... You did a good job reviewing.

Yes, I have seen that movie. I remember Danny Devito was an actor and a narrator in that movie and if I remember correctly Pee Wee Herman was there as a police officer of something like that. I remember Matilda had psychic powers and could move things with her mind. I liked the movie and would recommend it to anyone who has never seen it.

OMG......I love Matilda,I have been watching it over and over for 7 years, and reading the book that it was made from for longer. By the way, that book is by a European author,Roald Dahl. I love Matilda's precocious nature, her revenge on Mrs.Trunchbull,and Ms. Honey's huge heart. I dislike her parents' neglect, and their backwards mentalities that they tried to force unto their children. As shown by her brother, had Matilda not been as gifted as she was, she would have been a completely different person.

Yes, I saw this several times. I just love the movie. I watch it every chance I get. I didn't know that it was on Sunday though.

Hi there Cream. i have seen the movie and i love it because of it's funny situations and the little girl that plays Matilda is so cute that i watched it over and over and i am still not sick of this movie. Although Danny de Vito is just a secondary character in this movie, he is still a unique figure himself, and most of all i loved the magic in the movie :D

i have read the book and seen the movie. this is one of the roald dahl books that i like. the story's hilarious and matilda was really cute. i think i need to watch the movie again because the last time i saw was like 10 years ago.
