This question is based on the sentiment expressed in the Mosaic Law.Do you think this could be the solution to our rising crime rate.Someone kills a man ,his life must be taken too.A man steals he has two options ,he works to pay back what he has stolen or has his hands chopped off,if he rapes ,he is castrated ,he cuts someone he gets a cut in the same place he cut the other person.
Do you think this could really stem the tide or are they extenuating circumstances that must be considered ?.

Thats how we used to do things in the old days before we were civilised and it did not stop it then,I do agree with something more being done in the punishment line ,something has to be done and soon.Maybe an eye for an eye is the only is the only way it would certainly put most of the criminals off.x
