Are you afraid of cockroach?

I am really afraid of cockroach, I find it really disgusting. I don't know why, whenever I saw them, I felt so uncomfortable, especially those flying ones, that's even worse! Every time when I see a cockroach in my house, I'll ask my husband to go and get rid of it. I don't know why there are always cockroaches crawling around in my house on and off.
I was quite amazed that my younger sister is not afraid of cockroach. There was once, she's in my house and my husband was not around, and I saw a cockroach. She just went and took it up, then threw it to the rubbish bin. How I wish I can be as brave as that.

I can't say that I am exactly afraid of cockroaches. Its just that they are so dirty and yucky I don't like seeing them crawling around the house. I am usually able to kill them by stepping on them or slapping them with my slippers. My husband however, dislikes even to step on them because whatever is inside them splats out and he thinks its even more disgusting. When he sees a cockroach, he would grab the insecticide and run after it while with the spray hehehe

I hate cockroaches.
If I see one, I keep thinking about where it'll end up when I'm not looking. I have to follow it around with my eyes until someone kills it. *Shivers*

i know cockroaches are really worse and even i cant tolerate them my mom is more likely to you and she dont even try to hit it but i do i hit it and throw it out. cockroaches are so dirty to see and feel and how is it when it is asked to touch and i have did it in my second PUC. i have a desection of coach in my laboratory practicles and i have to do it and i was really feeling so annoyed to touch and desect it, but some how managed as i have to complete it as my part of studies. but i really hate them.

and when we had come to germany here we dont find cockroaches how ever the place is dumped and it is nice that we dont find them here and the people here dont even know what cockroaches are and i really happy to find that as to get rid of cockroaches for a few years atleast as in india we find so many cockroaches and in every house atleast a few.

I too am really disgusted by cockroaches. I could never just pick one up. I would even be scared to kill one because of that horrible crunching sound that it would make.

Hello kaka. I am really afraid of cockroaches too. They freak me out, most especially the flying ones. There was even a time when my sister was sitting on the couch. A flying cockroach landed on her. She didn't even scream or run away but I did most of the screaming. She said that I was over-reacting because it was only a roach. I too wish I could overcome my fear of roaches.

Yes, I am afraid of it. Just seeing it crawl towards me scares me away instead of stepping on it and kill it. It is really disgusting. Those flying ones are really irritating! You never know if it will drop at you. I really hate it when there are alot of cockroaches. I think that is a sign that the place is not clean.

I would not say I am afraid as much as I am disgusted. The idea of them crawling over my food disgusts me. The idea that they might be found crawling in my bed disgusts me. I have only lived in one place where they had cockroaches and I found it disgusting, I think they had their own smell. I got the landlord to exterminate them as I was afraid I would bring them back home in my luggage. Certainly throwing up is an over reaction but I guess I understand it to a certain extent.

I am actually not afraid of it. I just find it really dirty and wouldnt want it to touch or get in any part of my body. I can go near it and kill it then get a tissue paper and throw it in the trash can..

I am actually not afraid of these tiny insects. But flying ones make me irritated! Even their number here is not less and during my surfing activities, some strikes me in its walk or fly! 
There is nothing to be afraid in cockroaches! But their excess in number is to be reduced. Thanks!

I don't know if I would say that I am "afraid", but I don't like them. They're icky for lack of a better term. Fortunately we don't have any around where I live. I've never seen one up close, except at the zoo.

I am! I hate roaches. They're dirty and just look like part of the floor. We have wooden floor boars at home which are brown and unevenly colored, so when there's a cockroach on the floor, I don't immediately spot it. I'm deathly scared of flying roaches. Once, it buzzed past my arms and I was really creeped out! I think roaches are the most useless creations God has ever made.

Eeeeppp.. these creepy crawlers give me a strange feeling! Even if I see a cockroach 15 feet away from me I would break the hell loose! I just wish I had been as brave as your younger sister! I am really afraid of cockroaches. When I see one I keep searching around me to make sure that it's gone even an hour afterwards! Not that I hate them but they give me a different kind of feeling when I see them. And the mere idea of them running on my hand is very creepy!

I'm not afraid of cockroaches.Its just a insect and it won't harm us.But its quiet scary.Tat too the flying types cockroaches will make us nervous,but its easy to kill cockroaches. Remember, cockroach is the most common insect all over the world.It will not die even if its exposed to atom bomb.So its difficult for us 2 completely get rid off it.
