Ever get bored of MyLot?

Yes I do. Sometimes I get so aggravated by the lack of good discussions that I leave and then there are times when I really enjoy it. Sometimes though, I do get burnt out and I leave for weeks at a time. I always come back though.

I just go through the discussions and open the ones that look interesting in a new tab. I then go through the tabs and read the post and if it is interesting I go further and if I have something to add I will post. I therefore only respond to the interesting ones so I do not get bored. I do however run out of energy after an hour or so, and I go and do something else. My attention span is not unlimited so and hour on myLot is way plenty of time for me. I hear some people like yourself spending 3 or 4 hours and I could not do it. One guy says he spends 8 hours on here, I could not do that every day and would get bored. The little bit of income though helps as I know at the end of the month I will have accumulated a few dollars.

Sometimes, I get bored here. But then I get bored on other web sites as well and come here. At least, I get a little something for posting. I like the interesting discussions though. I am still checking out the site.

Hi Bethany! I have been mylotting everyday, for few hours for more than 4 months now! I like this site very much, but I have to admit that I'm starting to get bored. I wasn't active on mylot for few days and if login I only stay for an hour or a bit longer. I certainly wont reach the payment this month, but thats fine because I know its my fault. I hope that I will be more active on this site next month. Thanks!

I think that I am going through the same burn out process. Its just I start thinking do I really want to spend all of my free time here. thanks for letting me know Im not alone, perhaps I just need to set a time two or three times a week for my mylot.

Several times especially if I dont have any new discussions to write or respond to.And by new discussions I mean interesting discussions

yes I do get bored with it and then I don't come around for awhile, I just try to maintain payout each month but it is getting harder and harder to do that even.

Yeah I'm pretty bored right now ( joking!) But yeah, I know what you mean. I really haven't been too board here yet, but this probably comes in time after I have made my 1000 post or something. I think if a person has a lot of friends that are always posting new and interesting topics then this place should stay kicking. I feel so alone here sometimes though and hopefully I'll stay interested with this site long after my first payout ( which will be very soon).

I am here trying to make some extra money, so I try to keep myself from getting bored here. It does get a little boring sometimes when people aren't posting quality discussions to respond to, especially if I am having a hard time thinking of topics to start discussions on myself. When this happens, I usually just get up and get a drink or something and come back a few minutes later to see if things are getting any better.

I have gotten burned out n the past and stayed away for a while. Right now I'm pretty into it though. Too much, need to get off and get working!

I'll agree with you, it was fun at the beginning just navigating around the site but since I've gained so many friends and found out about a bunch of people who write for Associated Content I spend less time chatting. Its still fun though I just can't devote the time I used to give it.

I have days where I can't find a discussion that interests me and I can't think of any I would like to start. Those are the days that I'm just plain bored with MyLot and I find something else that peaks my interest. It happens at least once every two weeks.

i have here and other places before.. especially if i took a few days off and know im going to be behind in knowing whats going on.. but at least here im making money so that keeps me motivated lol

I think there are certain times of which you will get all sorts of boring discussions and if you log-in at this times, then obviously you going to have a "boring" time online. And again i think the most boring situations could arise if you have just made a payout and your balance get back to $0.00 then you ask yourself "when will i reach the next payout"? then you might start getting and logging in at certain times rather you use to. But when you are next to payout i think that is the time when you will more effectively log in so that you make it to the payout in no time

Yes, I agree. I do get bored here. I used to love looking at the different profiles and leaving comments. We used to get participation credit for doing things like that. When I noticed I was wasting my time doing that, I quit checking out profiles. Now I only look at someone's profile if there is something they have told me to go look at or if I need to send them a message.
