Do you use up your entire piece of soap or do you throw it away?

When you are using your soap, do you let it get small, and still continue to use it. Or do you throw it away once it is small. I try to use mines until it gets to the point of being very small. And once, I can no longer grasp it with my hands, then I will throw it away, and get out another bar of soap. What do you do, when your soap gets very small? Do you still use it, or do you just throw it away?

Honestly, I throw the soap when it's already very small. It's hard to use it and so I throw it away.

I use the soap as long as I can grasp it. It will be very very small and will already melt and gone in my hands. I just want to save anyway I can .

I will use the soap till it gives enough lather to bath. Then I will stick this to my new soap or else I will use it for washing only hands.

Well, I do the exactly like what you do. For as long as I can still grasp the soap I will not throw it away. This is one way of saving money since this present times it is very important to save and do cost cutting. But long before, I always make sure that things are not wasted.

when it comes to my face, it divided it into 8 slices to save, but soap for the body slice it into 2 only. soap is very expensive like dove and olay. huhuhu

Hello cream. I use up the entire piece of soap without throwing it away. I use it to wash some small things when it is very small. I make every use of it and I think that it is good habit of mine this way being friendly to the natural resources. Take care.

I like to use the soap till there is no soap left. Usually i'm the one finishing off the soap because the kids don't like to use the little pieces.

Personally I don't use it. I can not stand them when they get to small, but I just leave them in the shower, my wife will use the little peices until they are gone. She got mad at me once for opening a new bar before the old one was completely gone, I told her I hated to use the small tiny peices, she does not argue with me any more she just uses them herself. She is good at saving me money in little ways like that.

It usually gets to a small sliver, and then not used, yet somehow disappears. :)

Every time, when I take a new soap for bath, I will think that I must use this soap till it break, but, later on, when it gets smaller and smaller, I just put it near to the wash basin, so that I can use that for a toilet soap.....

I have a bath sponge that I cut a slit into, and when my soap gets too small, I slide it into there. That way it doesn't go to waste, and it can still be used in an easy way. In the summer, I sometimes take an old white knee sock and slide the little soaps inside it and tie a knot. Then I attach it to the outdoor faucet closest to the garden. That way I can at least wash the garden dirt from my hands before I touch the door handles to go inside the house :-)

I will use the bar until it is so small I can't hold onto it when I am washing, say my arms, when in the shower. Then I just throw it into the garbage. I hate trying to wash myself if the bar is so small that it falls out of my hands. Once it falls I will pick it up and try again but if it falls again, that is when I throw it away, I am sure that most people throw it away once they can't hold onto it. Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend, Have a good day, your friend Chris

I used it to its last bit! It's amazing really. It's super thin then when I rub it on me, it disappears! haha I think it also has something to do with the soap I use: either dove or olay - because they're soft and they're actually something that WILL expire. Some hard soaps are just stubborn, they just don't die. Thanks for replying in my discussion!

I actually do not use bars of soap, I use body wash and body creams. But I think if I do use bar soap that I would try to use as much as I could until it was no longer possible to hold it in my hands.

Im not a fan of bar soap, my boyfriend uses it though, he uses it until it dissolves into oblivion, then puts another bar on top of the mushy mess and they kind of fuse together. When im cleaning and see the sliver ill toss it, but he uses it until there is nothing left :)

I use shower gel when Im taking a shower, and when im washing my hands i use liquid soap. When I used to use solid soap, I would throw it away once it got too small and I would go buy another one.
