Christmas is near, gifts are coming from here and there. What are you going to do to those gifts that you dont like or you think are not useful to you? Do you recycle gifts? Please share your thoughts. Thanks

Thankfully I don't get gifts that I don't like. My family and friends either know me well enough to know what I like or they ask me what I want. I am very fortunate in this area.

Hi Moneyandgc, Your blessed if having lucky to receive gifts that you like. Me I am not that lucky sometime I receive like pouch, photo frame and figurines which I really hate to receive. What I did it i gave it away to others so that they can still use it. Be blessed.

Yes, I used to recycle my gifts especially those I don't like.. When every time I received gifts in my birthday and in Christmas I always separate those gift that I don't like and those that i like.. Well, sometimes I used to give my gift as a present to my friend.. I know that it is not good but for me it is a good thing to do.. Why? It is because instead of spending money to buy gift to my friend, i will just give it to her and even she don't like it too still she's going to accept it and I was able to save money.. Another thing is instead of keeping it until it breaks or gets dirt then that thing has the right to be appreciated by other people.. Am i so bad?? Well, most of us at home we did it especially those things that we already have and don't like it..

Hi Kissie34, Your not bad! LOL! I do it too. Just being practical instead of wasting all the unused gifts on your closet. Better to give it away so that others can use it. It can save money also instead of buying new gift for friends. Just a precaution, make sure that the giver of your gift does not know the person whom you will give the same item or else its a shame on you. Thanks for posting your comment. Be blessed.

Yes I do. But I really think about it first. My thoughts on this are, someone else might be able to find use for it than I can. Better than letting it sit around and rot or gather dust. I also try my darnest to remember who gave it to me so that I wont make the mistake of giving it to the same person or something. LOL!

hi jaymmyt yeah. just make sure that you did not give the same gift to the person who gave that to you. i have some tips on that. we have different circle of friends right like office mates, church mates, neighbors, friends and relatives what do is i categorize the gifts from the source. for instance if the gift came from my office mates i will give it next year to my friends at church or if not the same year also but i will make necessary creativity in the packaging. does it make sense?

Yes I do and I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with it. However you need to learn to do it in a way that you don't hurt the feelings of the person who gave it to you. For example: My mother in law gave me a gift I wasn't very fond of and it had no receipt so I could not return it. I regifted it to my mother for mothers day. It was a tasteful and nice item but I just didnt like it. The beauty of it is that my inlaws and my family do not talk to each other or socialize so nobody ever has a clue :)

Sooner or later those spaces in your store room would get filled up, what will you do then? Hiding them is clearly not a solution, it's just a diversion of the problem early on. Good luck! Brain Twister: Manhole Covers Why is it better to have round manhole covers than square ones? This is logical rather than lateral, but it is a good puzzle which can be solved by lateral thinking techniques. It is supposedly used by a very well-known software company as an interview question for prospective employees. Go to the end of my post to see the answer :) for more information on health, log on to http://www.diagnoseurillness.com A square manhole cover can be turned and dropped down the diagonal of the manhole. A round manhole cannot be dropped down the manhole. So for safety and practicality, all manhole covers should be round.
