If you could have any job you want, what would it be?

Wouldn't that be great if you could take any job you wanted? I realize that many people are quite satisfied with what they do for a living. But there are many more who struggle to go to work everyday doing something they really don't enjoy. I personally would like to be a writer. Someone like Anna Quindlen. She writes articles (for Newsweek) & books. This would really appeal to me. What about you? What would you do if you truly had a choice?

I would love to have either my own bookshop, or tea rooms, but since in my book shop I would want somwhere nice for the customers to sit while choosing there books so i suppose if i had a big shop i could do both

I love books and if I had a bookshop, I'd never want to sell any so I'd never make any money at it! I'd hate to see any of them go - I'd be wanting to check the buyer out to be sure the book was going to a good home!

That's a wonderful idea! I love books & adding a tea room would be a nice addition. There are coffee shops everywhere but I haven't seen any tea rooms around. Let me know if you open up - I'll come visit!

I think that I would enjoy working as an instructor, on the college level not children lol When I was in college I had a lot of great instructors and professors that really loved what they did. But, I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up lol

My husband is a college prof & enjoys it for the most part. There is no way he could teach the younger kids - he does not have the patience for that! I'm in my 40's & I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up!

If I could take any job I wanted, I would like to be an engineer. An engineer that designs ships, the really big ships. I think its just amazing how ships can move over the oceans with oil, gass, and other things. And they are extremely huge and heavey, but still they dont sink. I think its really amazing. Today Im still going to school, and Im actually not quite sure of what kind of job I want. There are so many different to choose. But I will work hard, so I can become an engineer someday :)

If I could have any job I wanted I would work as a psychologist or a psychiatrist, that has always been my dream. I would like to specialize in art therapy or music therapy and I would try to find new ways to help children with selective mutism. A job as a psychiatric nurse would also appeal to me.

Good for you. As I responded earlier, my undergraduate degree is in Psychology & I found that I really don't have the personality for it. I did enjoy learning about it & I admire those who go into that profession. Music therapy would be a fun specialization. Music, I think, is a very necessary part of life.

hmmm..well, i probably would be in full time youth minister. the future would not be as bad if we'll help cultivate good values and provide motivation to the youth of today.

That's wonderful! I have my undergraduate degree in Psychology but found that I don't have the demeanor for a psychologist. It was a great education, however, I learned a lot & enjoyed what I discovered.

if you have a job, maybe you should love it from the bottom of your heart. because , if you don't love your job, you will doing it with under pressure, and the result with your job is not good. and you will not find the happiness. is it connect with the salary??..yes but some people don't to much think about the salary if their love the job. with a little salary they will enjoy their job. but if you really need money, maybe you're looking not a job, but you are looking money machine.
