This is the time of year that i don't really like to much.
I go to work in the dark, and get home in the dark.
So the only daylight i see during the week is at work when i go outside to do a weather check.of cause on the weekends i enjoy the daylight.
Does it get dark early and stays dark late into the morning were you live?

I don't like this time of the year for that reason. Once the time changes in the fall it seems that its forever dark. My son likes being outside but by the time we get home in the evenings its already pitch black dark, so the only time that he actually gets to go outside is on the weekends.
I don't know if its a mental thing or not but it seems that I am always tired during this time of year. Its like the sunshine or daylight makes you feel vibrant and the early darkness makes me feel lethargic. Sometimes I feel like I am ready to go to bed as soon as I walk in the door. Its really hard because I fight every night to no go to bed at 8 oclock!

I don't like it being dark so late and early either. I really don't like the day lights savings time. I don't see how it supposed to save energy. You just have to turn the lights on earlier in the evening and You still have to have lights in the morning too.

It doesn't make sense to me either, why mess with time?

you are still lucky. If yo were living nearer to the Poles, you woudl have had one or two months of total darkness an done or two months of total day light with teh sun just above the horizon. Nearer teh equator we have more or less equal day and night but the further you go the timings keep changing in summer and winter. I prefer teh longer days tothe longer nights, but surprisingly I love winter over summer.if only we could have longer days in winter. Alas! not possible.
