I want to apologize to my friends.

I have to apologize to my friends for not answering your discussions. I am so far behind. I have been really busy this last three weeks. Two weeks ago I cleaned my house from top to bottom because of company coming for my Granny's memorial. Last week I had 6 extra people in my home for a week. Now this week I have a lot of work to catch up on for the doctor I work for and I feel like crap. My dizziness is back in full force. I went to work on Tuesday and scared one of the girls who I worked with because I almost fell. I tried to explain to her that that was normal for me. I get that way and that is why I am disabled and can only work part-time. Since then I have been sleeping for two days. I have not even turned the computer on yesterday. I will try to catch up with all your discussions next week. I also want to thank every one who has responded to my discussions. I have tried to keep up on them. Please be patient with me while I work through this flair up and get back on my feet. On top on not feeling well I have to go help my friend with the class rooms of children at her mini farm. we have to be there at 7:30am and will not be finished till 2:30pm. I hope I do not trip out in the field with the animals. I had to use my cane last week. I am sure I will be out there with my cane once again. It will be harder this week because one of the volunteers will not be there. I hope to be back and answering your discussions next week. Miss you all. teapot.

Hi teapotmom, I'm so very sorry to hear that your dizziness is back. You've had, and have got, so much on your plate right now. Please take care of yourself, and don't be afraid to cut back if you're doing too much. Be extra careful when you're helping out at that farm. I 'understand' what you're going through. As for you not answering my discussions lately, I know you've done some. Your response in my discussion about not being able to go on my daughter's university tours, due to my feet and leg problems, was a great source of comfort. I could tell just how much you understand. Love and Hugs to you.

Thanks for your kind words. I did go to the farm today. It was hard and I ended up having to take two Valium today. One in the AM and one after lunch. I did not trip or fall that was a good thing. I did hang on to my cane a lot. I will tell you I have been worse and have a walker. I hope it does not get that bad that I need to get the walker out and use it again. I will just keep upright once again. I am having a hard time typing because I have my new puppy curled up on my lap. She does not know she is a dog! She curls up in such a ball and has her head tucked into my over shirt. I do not know if you know anything of rat terriers or terrors at all but they love to burrow. She is burrowing in my shirts.

I hope and pray that you don't have to resort to your walker again. I can sure empathize with you in this regard, as far as having trouble getting around. Your new terrier sounds adorable. I don't really know a lot about dogs, as I am a 'cat person.' When I was under five, we had a little black Manchester Terrier named Trixie. I remember I really loved her a lot.

She is surly a challenge. She needs to go out for a walk right now. It it 8PM and I am not dressed. She thinks she needs to on my lap at all times and I keep telling her she is a dog and needs to be on the floor at times. She howls when she is not in the same room with me. I need to keep on her at all times. I need to get a book to give me trainning tips for a challenging dog.

Don't worry about it... mylot is not a place to stress out but a place to destress... so it is quite understandable why you cannot respond to discussions of your friends... i don't mind at all... at least i know that you are okay... and will be able to be active again when you get your much needed rest... just take it slow... mylot is not going anywhere...

You shouldn't even give it a second thought, mylot will be here when you get back. We all have things that are important and need doing. Real life is what really counts. I used to worry about it, but I don't anymore. I visit mylot when I have time and have cut my time down.

I have missed you. I will be back soon. I think when my I turn in all my work at the doctors office I may have worked myself out of a job.

teapotmommommerced, I suppose a lot of us here (including me) will be able to understand your plight and it is just one of those occasions where we are simply required to be away from our normal activity due to impending appointments, engaements, visitors and even illness. Speaking of illness, I was down with the flu for 3 days and I just don't feel like moving and to make matters worst I found an abandon Pekingnese puppy. Taking a toll on myself as well. Anyway, I hope that you will be getting better with work and health - responses can wait if you need time to recover, then by all means get well soon. As the ancient Chinese adage says: "Health is wealth", so you take care here.

Thanks for your kind words. I especially like the Chinese adage. I had a part Pekingese dog once and loved her to no end. She was a great little girl until she got hit by a car one time.
