Shaving Your Armpits - Whatever the Season?

lil woman wants to know - little woman, big armpits

Ok, the way I see it is: ...armpits are there to keep me warm... ...so I tend not to shave during winter (it's freezing and frankly I could do with all the warmth I can get especially since Brad Pitt and his warm hard body left me for bl**dy Angelina. Grrr.) I shave in the summer, though, as there wouldn't be a need for a warm fuzzy blanket of hair under my armpits. So, how about you? Do you shave all the time regardless? Of do you wear those hairy pits, like, all the time even when it's baking outside? Or are you somewhere in-between like me?

I do shave them because hair traps the bacteria that causes odor. I don't like to smell it and I'm sure others don't like it, either. And in the winter, I'm likely to put off a shower as long as possible since I keep my house around 65 degrees in order to save money. Brrrr!!!! Not bad, really, unless your body is wet!! Women only started shaving regularly in the past 50 years, I think. It's a societal thing, and we'd be better off if we'd ignore, tolerate or even enjoy the occasional ripe smell.

Hey! Well, isn't that body spray's for? - for the potential odour? There are some 'ripe smells' I like actually, like when a man's just been to the gym - or s*x sweat right after a shower - mmmmm...

lol...browneyed gal u sure have some humour there in ur post. im kinda soo turned on by women who exhibit a bit of stubble on their underarms..it looks so sexy and is an easy turn on for me..also a clean freshly waxed/shaved pit is "wow" too!! i always wonder why would there be a need for women to choose to shave their armpits when men dont have to..arnt we all humans? who ever invented or thought about women shaving their pits?? love the natural look anydy i guess provided it was trimmed and yeah a bit of sweat would be such a turn on whether fresh or a bit stale too mixed with a deo..especially after a hard days work.

I always shave my armpits, whether its cold or not, I don't think my husband likes seeing me with hairy armpits...lol. Now as for my legs I don't shave as much during the winter, but I do shave them once in awhile, if they start getting too out of hand.

Do you shave your pits because you think he doesn't like them or because it's how you prefer them?

browneyed..ur postmake me laugh...thats real sweet though..hey im sure ur underarms smell sweet too, it cant be that bad..i like armpits with stubble as well as freshly shaved or waxed pits..and the icing on the cake is when i see a few droplets of fresh sweat on a woman's pits especially after a hard day or that moist look on them..wonder you came up with the idea that women unlike men needed to shave their pits.

I aim to please! My armpits smell like almond butter, like fresh coconuts, like cookie-dough ice cream. Uh huh. My armpits aren't stubble - they're fully grown!, a soft black hairy towel billowing out of my t-shirt. I never said either gender needed to shave their pits. Was just curious about people's shaving trends. take care...

That's a good point. If your hubby doesn't shave his face hair, why whoudl you shave your pits! I don't know about you but kissing a man with a beard irritates my skin at times.
