Have you seen this story? I have been watching a few days about the little boy who shot his father and another man. what I have read is that the father was considered a good parent and that this child had planned these shootings. What bothered me was that the 8 yr old was never read his rights and was questioned without a relative or lawyer present. The other thing was that they lead this child out with handcuffs on,I mean what is going on here? why do you think a child would do this? Do you think it was premeditated or an accident? To begin with the kid said he wasn't shooting any guns, he also said that he had only handled a gun while target practicing with his father and then when hunting. What are your thoughts on this?

Wow I don't know about that. First off, with the child being questioned without a lawyer or parent there that was just wrong. Who knows what they could have talked him into saying. I also wonder whether the guy was a good father or not. So many times you hear of someone who was molesting a child or abusing them but in the public was though of as being a "good person". I really hope they figure out what really happened and get the boy some help.

It seems that they are being really quiet about alot of the details. They never have really said that the kid had a reason to do it,he said he was mad at his father because his stepmother had spanked it over something concerning school papers but that is it. I just cant fathom a reason he would of shot two people and I can;t believe he would have over a spanking.

I think there's a LOT more to this than anyone knows. That child could have been abused, physically or sexually, or any number of things could have happened. I know that children don't kill unless they're sociopaths and that is very, very rare at that age. They had to read him his rights or he'll get off, whether he's guilty or not. But how in the world can someone that young understand the rights?! I lived in Arizona for 28 years and it is a very strange, horrible place.

I don't think it's limited to Arizona - it's everywhere!

I've seen this on the news too. It's a terrible and shocking story. I can't imagine an eight year old being able to shoot to grown men by himself. I wonder it there is more to it. As to him being questioned without a relative or lawyer, that isn't right. I don't know what to think about this one.
