Today was the release of the movie Twilight. It was first a book written by Stephenie Meyer. If you are 16ish years old and live in North America you would have read the 4 books by now and are in love with the male lead in the movie, Robert Pattinson. My daughter is there with a pile of friends that will be coming back here afterward for a birthday party sleepover. There will be six 16 year old in my home tonight. Boy is it going to be loud!! LOL So if you have seen the movie what did you think?? I am going to see it on Tuesday because that is cheap night at our cinema. Of course I am taking my daughter!! But what did you think of it??

I read the book, but it seemed - based on what I have heard from radio interviews - that the movie was much more made for teenage girls than the books were.

It had some very romantic parts in it for the young girls. Even for us middle age girls, LOL. I can't wait to finish the book I am reading, so I can start the first one! James looked very familiar, I need to find out from where did I recognize him from.

According to the six teenagers I have here they say the movie was about the same as the book.

I took my 11 year old daughter and her BF last night. My daughter had only 30 more pages of the first book to read, she was reading all day yesterday to try and finish. I didn't want to see the movie until I read the book but I broke down and said ok let's go! I loved the movie!!! A friend got us started on the books, she has read all the books twice now. I can't wait to call her today to tell her we saw the movie, the first night it came out!

We rarely go to the movies, we prefer to wait until it comes out to Redbox but this has been the talk of middle school, so I splurge.

I don't go to the movie very often either. Only the ones that seem really, really good. I usually wait till their are available to rent.

No, I haven't. But I certainly want to see it. It might have to wait, as I'll most likely be very busy over the holidays.

I'm not 16 years old, but I have read all four books. I'm not in love with any of the cast members but I do plan to watch the movie. However, I plan to watch it next week during daytime. Don't really feel like dealing with screaming teenagers..LOL.. I don't envy you dealing with your little group..but I'm sure taking it in the right spirit, it can be fun. After all, as females, whether we are six, sixteen or sixty, it is still fun to rave about good looking guys..LOL..

We all had a ball!! The girls let me in on a lot of the fun in the evening. We all laughed hysterically. I am going to see the movie tomorrow night. I am pretty excited about it. I hope the girls won't be quite as loud by then!! LOL

Yes! I saw it the evening that it came out! I haven't read the books yet but I know some of the people said it wasn't like how they envisioned it. But, it was fantastic! I loved the baseball scene and Edward + his family ;D They are beautiful. I thought the entire thing was really intense and romantic. I can't wait to see the next two and hoping that its just as amazing.

I did see twilight. I absolutley loved the movie, but it was nothing like the book. I still loved the movie though. It had its own interests of detail on its personal basis.
