It happens to me a lot too, but I was finally able to lose weight by sticking to my diet plan, but I made Fridays as "reward" days in which I get to eat chocolate (only a small piece!) OR junkfood (I pick the smallest available size) and not walk the treadmill LOL. I also really enjoy drinking cola, but when I was dieting I only allowed myself a few sips instead of a whole glass. I know it's kind of sad, but the temptation would be lesser if you don't deprive yourself.

hahaha! I made a commitment to myself that I will go for a good diet though..something that would not also deprived myself from eating. I lasted for a week though that to me seems would be a great accomplishment. I actually lose a few pounds. This happen a week from my wedding. and I ate tons and loads after. and now I gain more and more...which is very frustrating. I dont know...probably I will start after Christmas again. hahahaha. How I wish...this would indeed happen.

yes, it is very much normal. humans have the tendency to try those acts which they are restrained from. so, this is very much human like. just try to keep away from the site where food is being cooked. probably it will help..

No matter how I tried to stay away from food...i mean good food. it find its way to me. I can't resist the temptation. its harder than solving a algebra problem. I dont know. Hope I could totslly say no to all of them. and hopefully would not cook for hubby...but. that is impossible. I eat the food i cook with my hubby.

That is my problem. I try to diet to lose holiday weight or a couple of pounds and end up indulging my cravings then gain a couple of pounds. I went on a good diet for a week and the next week was a holiday i think thanksgiving. I couldn't help myself. In the last few months i have gained 6 ibs. I know that don't seem like a lot but for me it does.

Force yourself to leave the dining table would be the best way to solve your porblem, however,it does require a strong willpower.
