How long do you use the internet?

I am a starter to say.Because I am just using it from september of this 2008.Now I am having only dialup connection and it is very slow.I have applied for a broadband connection and I will soon get it.I am missing lot of the experience due to my dialup now and I will soon explore more the net with my broadband connection.

I have been online since 1996 and you wouldn't believe how much better it has gotten since then! Back in the old days I had to get online with a crappy dialup modem. Dialup is very slow compared to what I have now. Dialup is a slow 56k compared to the 6000k I get with cable! Also people don't know this but your rated internet speed is in bits and not bytes. Most users think they are supposed to get it in bytes! One byte is equal to 8 bits so 56k is really only around 7 kilobytes per second and 6000k is only around 768 kilobytes per second.

I have use computer during my 4th year in high school but I have not start using internet until my college days. I spend my college days away from home, so I can go out at times to use the net, unlike when I am home, I have limited time outside. If I go out, I am always asked what time i come back, or when I go out, I am always asked I should get home at this time and at that time. During my college days, since I am really new to it, I spend almost an hour everyday at the internet cafe, and later on got a part-time job at the school cafe whenever there is no class. Both computer and internet has been very useful to me. Because it helps me earn money and helps me do research for my projects. Aside from that, it is through internet that I get connected with my friends.

I use Internet for more than one year since I went to college last year.But I find I am fond of it now, however sometimes I spend too much time on it and it does harm to my eyes..

Computers was part of my subject since elementary (Grade 6) and that was year 1996 and we are still using MS DOS. However, when I reached third year high school (2003) we are already talking about Microsoft and internet. Ever since then, I've been addicted to computers, software and hardware and even if I did not attend a vocational school for computer, I can trouble shoot computer because my brothers are computer technician and whenever they are working, I am watching them. In my family, we are all computer knowledgeable and internet addict too! We subscribed to an unlimited DSL years ago and we are enjoying the luxury of using internet since then!

i started using internet on 2004 when i was 14 years old.since then i mainly depend on internet if want some data or information.i also love spending my leisure time in the sites like mylot or other forums and social sites.
