Is there really anything in your life that you have done and you regreat it ???

Hmm, I think just this past week I asked someone to do something for me that is starting to make me regret that I did it in the first place. Im not regretting it yet since I have a plan and I just hope it goes well that would make things better and I just hope that the person would agree to forgive and forget what I did. Anyway, no need for the details but the bottomline is, I mightve lost a friend Of course the person did something that made me do it but I think I shouldnt have done that. I shouldve let go what the person did. Well, whats done is done and Im taking steps to make things right/normal again. If this thing doesnt get resolved before the new year then I would definitely regret it.

I spanked my son once and I still see him holding his poor little bottom and hear him crying. I wish I hadn't done that. I forget what he did, it must've been dangerous because I wouldn't have touched him if it hadn't been. But I can't get that out of my head, it intrudes sometimes when I least expect it and it haunts me. I've already apologized to him and he doesn't even remember it. I also wish I hadn't sent my other son back to bed on Easter morning when he was 4--I'd had so little sleep the night before I was grumpy. He didn't cry but I know he was hurt. Those are the only two things I would change. All the hurt, tragedies, pain and happiness can otherwise stay as they are because they've made me what I am now.

I think it is impossible for anyone to go through life and not wish they had done things differently in some ways but on the other hand I dont beleive in regrets because I think what we do, makes us the people who we are. It is easy to wish that we had done one thing instead of another but who is to say that things would have been better if you had done it that way? You may not have the same problems that doing it the way you did caused but there maybe be worse problems. I wish I had stayed at University and not left but I was suffering with depression at time and I maye have done something silly in my house. I prefer to learn from my mistakes and use them to make me a better person rather than wnating to go back and do things differently.

sure, i think everybody does. not much u can do about it now. doesn't do any good to worry about it. what's done is done.

Hi geminipunk, I think we all feel that but is life, life is paterned out for us and we have to make mistakes to learn by it, it was our destiney to do those mistakes and if we didn't do those we would ask ourselfs what if I done it, instead of I shouldn't have that that. Its just lifes lessons and we have to accept them. Tamara

Yes, i always think of the day when i left my job with HDFC BANK. Eventhough iam better off now in my carrer, i truly enjoyed working with HDFC. The true spirit of Team, i learned there. Eventhough life was very forward there and leisure now, i still feel that if i have a chance to change the past, i would still love to be there.

Yes. I regret that I did not take more time and effort to put myself through college even though my parents did not have a role in it. I wish I would have waited on dating and went to school instead.

There are a lot of things that I regret but going back to fix it isn't part of those things that I have in my mind. Although I regret them but I have no other choice but to move on and if it's not of what happened in the past I won't become the person I am today. So, I would say that there are few (if not a lot) bad things that would happen in the course of our life to make things great in the end.

I did, trusting a total stranger and believing every word he said, then ended up being scammed and hurt. It was so stupid of me, i do regret having done that but i can't do anything about it anymore. Now,i am being extra careful in dealing with such people.I have learned my lesson.
