Marloquette Water Falls - Me and my friends in Marloquette Water Falls...
If you're talking about going outside our places, nope we have not but if it is just in our place yes many times already. We usually go to the beach or resort for one whole day and just have fun.. We usually do it during summer or Christmas Vacation wherein we don't have class and sometimes during Birthday and we usually celebrate it in weekends.. It is really fun going with your family and just have fun... I also had a vacation with my friends in College. We usually hang outs in the mountain or in waterfalls. We love to go for adventures even sometimes our life had been in danger because of some accident and being hard headed.. We usually hang outs during weekends, actually it is a overnight outing. We go for mountain climbing, trekking, follow a river, just want to take a bath in the falls or in the beach.. It is really fun because it takes 2 to 3 hours ride before we arrived in our destined area then walked about 8 to 10 hours to be able to reach the top of the mountain.. We left home very early in the morning around 5am then we arrived in the destined area at 7 or 8 then start walking until we reached the top.. It is tired but its ok because we really have fun.. It is really enjoyed especially when you're with your friends and partner..

We dotn go anywhere on Christmas. Its kinda like the tradition to go to our GrandMa's house, exchange gifts, share Christmas lunch and just have spend some time together. I think its most crucial nowadays that we spend it with our GrandMa since she's already 80 years old. She's still alive and kicking but she's getting on in years so we wanna spend all the time that we can especially those holidays. That is what Christmas is about, at least for us, and its family. Happy holidays.

This summer I took my toddler son on a flight to Riga. For two weeks we traveled around and explored Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. We went to the capital cities, the countryside and the coast. I loved seeing an old castle and views over forestland and a river. The weather was cool all the time and rainy some of the time. The Mid Summer celebrations were a washout. I have just booked flights to Cape Town in January. I will be traveling for with my toddler son for two weeks. It should be warm and sunny because they have summer when my country has winter. It was tempting to go to a tropical island. Whilst my son is young I am to take him to the most suitable places. In 2010 I would like to take him to Vancouver, Vancouver Island and the Rocky Mountains.

The last vacation i had was in 2005... so it has been three years now eversince... and the closest i had to that was the whole day excursion to Subic Bay... other than that... nothing... I hope that next year my daughter and i can go for a short vacation... maybe join her father in China for a few days... but then... that would be quite expensive... and right now... we don't have the money for that...

It's been quite a while since I've been on a vacation. Usually when we go out of town, we go to my brothers house, and he has little children. They can drive me up the wall. I love them dearly, but trips like that are no vacation.

I went to Houston to see the Madonna concert and went to Dallas/Fort Worth to visit family over the summer. That was about it for this year. I was busy with doctors visits and surgeries to be able to do much traveling. I plan on doing more in the new year along with hopefully finding a better job. Thanks for the post. This was a good topic.

Not yet. As this year I used my vacation time to stay in the hospital as I had a surgery three months before. So this year I don't have enough time to have a travel. A short trip for one or two days will be OK. So next year I will look forward to have a travel with my family. I love China

Not a chance. I have no money to take a vacation. I just get to stay home. To me a vacation is going away somewhere and I have not been away since ooooh hard to remember so long ago. Hmmmmmm since March 2007 I went away for 3 days staying with family to attend my nephews wedding. I think it was 2007. Oh dear it must have been. I know it is over 18 months and all it cost me was the air fare and my brother helped pay for that. It was fun though while it lasted. I have no idea when I will see my family again.

I've never had a real vacation since I was a child. I've taken long weekends off when a holiday coincided with the weekend but have never received a paid vacation in my life. At this point in my life, I doubt I'd know how to take a vacation!

Hi ya geminipunk I don't really plan vacations really. I took the kids away during the summer holidays to visit family and friends and we shall be visiting my mum for the New Year but that's about it really. I would love to visit my aunty who lives in America but I am a single parent and I don't think I could afford the air fare for us all and also my kids would have a hard time sitting in an airplane for like 7 hours!!

Don't feel alone. I haven't been on vacation with my husband for years. He travels with softball in the summer and is gone alot but I don't go with him. My idea vacation would be in a warmer climate, on a beach, having a drink. I love the lazy life. Thanksgiving the relatives are coming to our town so we won't be going anywhere.

What is a vacation LOL? Just teasing. I have not had a vacation in years. My husband and I have been working seven days a week lately just to survive and make ends meet.

I haven't had my vacation yet and i am afraid i won't be able to do it this year. But if ever i can, i would like to go to the beach and just enjoy with my girls and relax. It would be great just sitting on the sand and enjoy the sun and water. Watch the sunset and the stars or just read a good book.

I think I already had my vacation for this year, though it is not an official one. After our semestral break, I stayed at my classmate's house for 3 days. We went to their farm and we had fun their, picking fruits and vegetables. Then, after that, I went to another classmate's resort. I swam in their beautiful beach and made friends with children there. Finally, I went home and visited my relatives on nearby places. What a semestral break that was!

During the last two years, I was able to have a vacation with my boyfriend with the rest of our friends. This year, unfortunately we didn't have one. We were supposed to go out-of-town by the end of this month but plans changed and my colleagues decided to have a summer vacation next year instead. It is also due to lack of time and planning. I hope we'll have one next year and I am really looking forward to it.

In March of this year, we took a family vacation for my 30th birthday. It was a blast, but I think I could use another vacation :)
