I am sorry I haven't been around for a while but I am really busy with my parents ( both have Alzheimer's ) Mam is failing quite a bit at the moment so I don't have much time on line , can I thank you for your responses in advance , I will be able to read them all but might not have time to answer ,

I am so sorry to hear that your mother is failing some right now. I am so glad that you took the time to send this link to wolfie and I am oh so happy that he had you send it to all of us. I love to listen to IL Divo but I have never heard them do this song before like it was done on youtube. It is very moving for sure. I am like you....WOW. I did put that in my youtube favorites.
Take care of yourself and you and your family are in my thoughts and will say a prayer for all.

It is really beautiful my friend. Il Divo is my favorite. In fact I start interest Il Divo in music section. I like to listen and watch those handsome guys....

I am lost for words, hearing these men sing Amazing Grace gave me goosebumps - they are absolutely fantastic; such beautiful voices, each one of them. Of course, when I saw the piper in the middle of the song, that just made it for me - my Dad was a piper in the BlackWatch many moons ago, and it made me think of him, may he rest in peace.

So good of you to let us know you're fine. I'm one to wonder when I haven't heard and I think that's because I fight health issues daily and I like to keep in touch. So Thanks for the update. It's no eazy walk in the park having to watch parents go down hill. I'm sorry you're having to deal with this and I do know what it's like, good for you that you're doing all you can.

I have been a huge fan of Il Divo ever since Simon Cowell (the ogre of American Idol) create the group in 2004. I have all their CDs but I must admit that this version of "Amazing Grace" is my absolute favorite I think it was the 'pipes being featured that cinched it for me. I had always thought that there could be nothing better that the bagpipes rendition of this tune but not anymore!

i know what it is like to take care of someone you love. i have had my share of taking care of my step-dad for 4 yrs. it really keeps you busy.
