Goodwill has an Online Shopping Site!

After posting an article about some bargains I found when shopping at our local Goodwill Store, I recalled an online site that Goodwill owns. Shopgoodwill.com is an auction site. The items vary and the prices are really great. We have used this site several times and have never been disappointed. Want to learn more about what online auction buying is all about? I will go there as well, as I love the goodwill. I hope they have yarn as I need more to make scarve's for christmas. a big plus on that one

That is wonderful. that will make it alot easier for alot of people to be able to shop with them, who cannot get out much.

There are a lot of people who would love to be able to go to a shop to browse or purchase items and cannot. Online shopping is a wonderful option.

I didn't know Goodwill had an online store or that it held auctions. I will have to check it out. When you bid on an auction how does the pay seem? Is it better than regualr price or does it seem like you pay more?

The prices are great. My hubby has bid on several items and won a few. The price would be what I would have paid for them at a yard sale or second hand store.

I was on for 5 minutes and bid on something. Don't know if I got it or not. The only thing is, for the things that I looked at, you have to pay the shipping, but there is an instant check for you to see what it is. It figures the weight and where you live from where it's coming from. Pretty cool!!

That is really cool. I didn't know that existed. I just dropped off a bag of stuff at my local Goodwill a couple weeks ago. I wonder how many people even know the Goodwill site exists?

This is way good of you to send this along. I would have never thought in my wildest dreams that Goodwill would have had online shopping. I'd be willing to bet Canada doesn't but I'm going to check it out later when I'm feeling better. Thanks again you're a good friend to say the least!!!

Hey, thank you for the tip! The way my finances are these days I'm sure it will come in very handy! I'm going to tell my daughter about it as well because she shops at the Goodwill Store pretty often and has gotten some really great buys there so I know she'd be interested. Annie

What a great site...kind of like Ebay only your not only buying something you need/want your also donating to charity. It's also great for ppl that may not live close enough to be able to go to a Goodwill and shop. Thanks for the link! [b]~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**[/b]
