Anykey is Enter Key

I have noticed that almost all of the computer users press 'Enter Key' whenever a software application asks the user to 'press any key to continue'. I also use 'Enter Key' only. What it shows all the computer professionals are thinking in the same way?

space bar is a big help also most especially if you are in the middle of typing something, space bar is nearer than the enter key.. anyway, all programs maybe is default to that kind of setting so as universal they use the enter key... =)

I too press the Enter Key when any software pops up a message before me.The software is programmed that way to accept any input from the keyboard.I think its a habit for all of us to press the enter key instead of any key.Next time i'll try any key and see what happens.

I also always use the space bar since it is the biggest and easiest to find. I can sit back and wait, and then when it says "press any key to continue" then i can easily hit the space bar without paying attention.
